I relate completely. I live on the ocean in northern California. Been here for 40 years, and I can honestly say that if it hits 70 degrees anytime during the year we think we’re having a heat wave. It’s absolutely beautiful here, but it’s nippy. No joke. LOL
Our little Methodist church has already decided to stay within the Bible teachings. We’re just waiting to see what the heads of the church decide and what our next action should be.

Im sure it will be an enjoyable movie. Jim and I saw all of the last five star wars movies together.. the first three (my favorites) were much earlier before I came to Ohio.
I can’t put my finger on it exactly but the last two just didn’t have the magic I felt in the earlier movies. Even the second set if movies I enjoyed. Yes Jar Jar was corny... and all was fantasy so fun for me. The romantic in me enjoyed the love story of the little boy and the head of state... The tragic ending of the last movie (3) second series. had me in tears.... (each time I saw it. NO I will NOT tell you how many times) the music in the movies is phenomenal. When John Williams passes we will have lost a wonderful creative genus in the music

Talked with friend yesterday whose in-laws are still in Iran. They have been keeping their heads down and pretty well out of sight since the Shah was removed. So nothing has changed for them. They are still safe, but still must speak in code. Husband has visited his mother three times in past year. Her health is not good. I suspect he forgets his wallet each time he returns back to US. Three members of family have us green cards. They
have visited here and have always stopped by DC before getting here. I don’t ask questions.
We have watched FoxBiz, for years....hubby likes straight stock/futures/economy news....he says FBN mixes in too much politics.
That’s what I like about FBN....they cover biz AND politics...much better (IMO) than FNC.
I’ll take cold any day, or rainy, or snowy, or all three together— every day of the year, because they are all better than fire season! Period. End of story!
