Still plugging along and as a sign I am feeling better after 4 months of essentially being asleep or up and groaning... I have been doing some cooking and have pulled out my beading stuff and making things. I need income and between Norwex and selling some of my beaded jewelry & accessories perhaps I can keep my head above water.... (and I thank you RWI for helping me!) I am whipping up creations for valentines day; Clutch Your Pearls Patriotic; St. Pats and various colors.
The various meds I am on have affected my sleep patterns.. I need more but they tend to keep me awake. So I get up and try to get something done. ... quietly., Jens is a very light sleeper
Made up an easy dish (hey Pax even you would like this one) I call it pink pasta. I use a three cheese tortellini and the sauce is a bottle of GOOD mariara and equal size good alfredo. Add some extra garlic and Italian seasoning. top with shaved parmesan. Easy Peasy. When I make just plain alfredo I make scratch. But for this recipe am lazy.

I have a lot to get done in the next few days that is important. Medically and otherwise Will have a fun time Wed.. Date Day (I haven’t wanted to even go out for anything social for months).. with my HS/college BF Jim. Brunch and Star Wars. I know it is an awful movie but since I was a trooper since the 70s and have seen them all.. well need to see it. Jim Turns into Cinderella about 3-4 as he has to get home (hour and half away) to care for his mom. Like I was, He is not caretaker to his 90 year old mom. She is a sweetie and looks a lot like Queen Elizabeth.
Gotta get rolling.. Doc appt at 10..

He is not allowing them to “Shame” him into their control. If you haven’t read “Games Alcoholics Play”. Nan has drug her abuse games into her public life. It’s one thing to play them with friends and family but to drag them into professional /national light is inexcusable. Something the house crew from CA seem to have in common.
Otoh POTUS seems to not only know these games but how to get around them. Sometime in his life (other than with his older brother) I suspect he has had excellent counseling.

Hubby watches CNBC, in the mornings, for biz/economy news.
Fortunately, they rarely venture into politics...except for their hourly (fake) news breaks.
The guy, this morning, was in Iraq and could NOT have been more biased. He couldn’t keep straight if he was reporting on Iraq or Iran, and had the ‘retaliation’ meme/TPM down pat.
Jim Cramer didn’t care for Gervais’ monologue....especially the hit on Apple.
Whaahhh.....wake up, Jim.....MAJORITY of Americans LOVED the honest monologue.
The Impeachment Hoax, just a continuation of the Witch Hunt which started even before I won the Election, must end quickly. Read the Transcripts, see the Ukrainian President’s strong statement, NO PRESSURE - get this done. It is a con game by the Dems to help with the Election!
Congress & the President should not be wasting their time and energy on a continuation of the totally partisan Impeachment Hoax when we have so many important matters pending. 196 to ZERO was the Republican House vote, & we got 3 Dems. This was not what the Founders had in mind!
