He is not allowing them to “Shame” him into their control. If you haven’t read “Games Alcoholics Play”. Nan has drug her abuse games into her public life. It’s one thing to play them with friends and family but to drag them into professional /national light is inexcusable. Something the house crew from CA seem to have in common.
Otoh POTUS seems to not only know these games but how to get around them. Sometime in his life (other than with his older brother) I suspect he has had excellent counseling.
I have read things about his 1st wife that probably gave him the experience 1st hand.
