So as a webmaster I am curious who has more than one username and account here? Webmasters and admin need at least two, and two different email addresses so that they can test the script from the user side. I am guessing that Jim and John have acquired many more than that over the years so that they can cruise around under the table with discussions. But I am very curious how many here have more than one as to assume different personalities as the situation requires in their agenda? I am one of those who has only owned one username on every board I have haunted and take my licks as that only one personality. How about you? Just curious. :)

Sure, I have that problem. But still use only one to share all those different personalities. Same name, different time of day, different person... :)
Theoretically, you can't. Like carrying a suitcase past the Pearly Gates, it can be done with special dispensation. But getting that dispensation can be VERY challenging. If you're going to go through all that effort you'd better have a very good reason.

That is the cool thing about administration needing to approve user membership. You can check IP’s to make sure.
But... I could throw an address from Spain or France in a few minutes if I wanted to. These guys that can do that are the problem.

One former moderator was not even good at all at keeping their moderator status separate from their FR nick. It was an open secret who they were. And it did not help that that person was not very nice, not very well respected.

My first name is Margaret (Peg) hence my “punny” username, plus there’s the children’s game, mumblypeg, where the object is to avoid shooting oneself in the foot, as I often do with my long-winded blather...
Nevertheless, sometimes fellow FReepers assume I’m a guy and try to whup me, and I actually enjoy the verbal fisticuffs when people honestly say what they REALLY mean!
If I let on I’m a girl, they tend to back down and get all apologetic and polite, and that’s no fun at all!
