EGYPT 2000 BC: Drills were used that turned 500X faster than today's power drills and bored into granite rock with ease.
Dentists worked with cement fillings, dental bridges, and inserted artificial teeth.
Doctors performed pregnancy tests, determined the sex of an unborn child, fed nourishment through tubes, fitted artificial legs and hands; and used anesthetic and sophisticated instruments to perform bone and brain surgery?
Mysterious moving walls, automatically flashing lights and lamps that shone century after century, non-stop?
A detailed map of Antarctica dating back thousands of years, without ice!
A 400 ft pyramid was found on the seabed.
44 skeletons were excavated in Pakistan dating to about 2000BC and found to be radioactive!
There are 25 places around the world which show hard evidence that atomic warfare was used thousands of years ago.
In Peru, 4-dimensional art with several faces that disappear or change into other figures, according to your position or that of the sun.
Dinosaurs and people coexisted.
There are approximately 600 legends worldwide that a world flood took place about 4,400 years ago.
....and hundreds more!
The fallacious claim diminishes the author. The remaining points cannot stand any better without proof; however, now I doubt his credibility.
BKMRK
Ha! Not quite.
This book suggests that mankind has risen to great technological heights in the far distant past, only to be wiped out by extinction level cataclysms, over and over again.
That actually makes sense to me, as we have solid evidence for such events in the geologic record. For me, it goes a long way towards explaining many of the anomalous artifacts that still stand today.
I was just interested in the idea that primitive man, at some point, had technology that might not have been primitive at all (by modern standards).
What this discussion brought to my mind were things in ancient myths/literature from mostly the Babylonian/Assyrian/Sumerian/Akkadian areas as to demigods (Apkallu) passing on technology (among other things).
Sounds like fun.For later.
I will also freely admit to anyone that I would not have the tenacity to use hand tools to accomplish what they did.
Uh, no.
Tooth drilling, tooth pulling, fake teeth, attempts at putting in fillings, all true.
Trepanning was done apparently for health reasons. A good many were successful, most probably were not. Anaesthesia was carried out via some mediciinal herbs, and by "stunning with smoke". Results overall were hit and miss. Prosthetic legs, feet, toes, are known from ancient Egypt. Not sure about the rest of those claims, but am doubting it.
Never existed.
Doesn't exist. The two maps generally referenced don't show Antarctica without ice, or don't show it at all.
If this refers to the natural formations in deep water off Cuba, then no.
Nope, there were no radioactive skeletons excavated at Mohenjo-Daro or anywhere else from ancient India or Pakistan.
There is not even one. This is related a bit to the radioactive skeletons -- the most obvious guess from the Mahabharata texts is that bolides (basically space debris) rained in from the sky.
No idea wth this is really about, best guess is Markawasi.
Dinosaurs and people did not coexist. I'd be happy to learn that some kind of humanoid species (or more than one) walked the Earth long before homo sapiens, but alas, there is no consistent, solid evidence. The claim probably relates to the all-dinosaur prints at Paluxy TX.
There are legends of large flood or tsunami events, here and there from preliterate traditions, but not even one of them agrees in every detail with any of the others.
That is jaw dropping and I’ve never heard of the Klerksdorp
spheres. Definitely I will be reading up on this. Thanks!

The “elites” in every culture kept many advanced techniques / knowledge to themselves.
They built giant stone structures and other mechanical devices that compared to today’s technology were little more than coin operated music boxes. But to the average villager they seemed like magic or inspired.
As for their knowledge of the stars and the seasons..they spent a large part of their lives outside observing. Many people died as a result of their “experiments”
Someone had to taste the unknown berry on a bush and it was for certain it was the elites.
Of the eleven claims, he got one, sort of got two others. The rest are false. See #88 (this is in reply to it).
The “elites” in every culture kept many advanced techniques / knowledge to themselves. How else could they separate themselves from the peasants?
Many people died as a result of their “experiments”
Someone had to taste the unknown berry on a bush and it was for certain it was the elites.
Still others were sacrificed to their “gods”
Many cultures built giant stone structures..nearly all of them have to shown to be a result of leverage or some other reasonable technique. Still, they were quite clever.
They built mechanical devices that compared to today’s technology were little more than coin operated music boxes. But to the average villager they seemed like magic or inspired.
As for their knowledge of the stars and the seasons..they spent a large part of their lives outside observing and marking events.
They observed that the sun was at a certain point in the sky every year and built observatories for such events.
If you had to take a crap in the gutter or haul it out of your home in a bucket.....then No....not advanced.
I agree, and I get annoyed by the ancient astronaut theorists always suggesting that we’ve practically never done anything great without the intervention of extraterrestrials. Bah, HUMBUG!
Actually, we have NOT extended lifespan in any meaningful way.
We HAVE increased the AVERAGE lifespan, by reducing infant death rates, accident death rates, and disease death rates.
When the average survival rate of infants was 60%, that dragged down the average age considerably. For a recent example of that, I present my family:
My grandmother had 5 children. 2 of those children died in infancy. My father lived to 72, his older brother lived to 74, and his youngest sister to 80.
Add those ages up and you get 226 years. Divide that by 3, and they lived an average of 75 years, which is pretty close to the norm of today. However, add in the two that died in infancy, and the average drops considerably, to 45 years, which is pretty close to what average age at death was before modern medicine became so widespread.
Lots of folks lived to 70+ way back when, but so many more died in childhood that the statistics were wildly skewed.
A six hour long YouTube video? Nope! Aint nobody got time for that.
As to the book, I read the reviews on Amazon, some gushing praise for opening their minds, and then got to the 1 star reviews. Again. Nope.
After reading some excerpts of this book on the World Wide Interwebs I have to agree with the scathing 1 star reviews.
It is a rambling, unsourced, unproven (and unprovable) non-footnoted, highly speculative, pseudoscientific conjecture and confused soup of gooblygook with no credible references to back up any of his claims but infused with lots of wishful thinking, postulations on the future, mixed with big lumps of young earth creationism and wild conspiracy theories by someone claiming to be an archeologist but evidently someone who has no degree, (perhaps with no degrees in anything at all except those painted on his rectal thermometer - live alone in archeology heck the guy who came to my house to dig a trench for a new septic line is closer to being an archeologist than Jonathan Grey) in a self-published and poorly written book more worthy of a blog - and thats no real praise either. And can I tell you what I really think?
Seriously the guy with the hair on the Ancient Aliens show has more credibility. No, not really but at least he and his hair are entertaining.
Dinosaurs and people coexisted.
Nope. Nope. Nope. You do know that the picture of Jesus riding a dinosaur is a joke and that The Flintstones is not a documentary yes? The Earth is not 6,000 years old and our ancestors didnt hang out with, hunt or be hunted by dinos.
Drills were used that turned 500X faster than today's power drills and bored into granite rock with ease.
Has anyone actually found one of these drills? Has anyone found any ancient plans or depictions of them, or re-created them? Because just postulating they must have existed because we may have trouble replicating the results without modern tools that we use today, doesnt mean they couldnt have accomplished results without them.
A detailed map of Antarctica dating back thousands of years, without ice!
And the evidence of and for this map is .? If this is a reference to the Piri Reis map, first of all its not thousands of years old but dates to 1513 and by the Ottoman admiral and cartographer Piri Reis. Stupid inbred Muzzy no doubt. /s Interesting map indeed but not proof that Antarctica had no ice thousands of years ago or even in 1513.

Now that is not to say that ancient peoples and ancient civilizations were at all stupid or without any technology or ingenuity, that is one thing. But to claim that they had secret and highly advanced technology like drills that turned 500X faster than today's power drills or were using nuclear weapons thousands of years ago and all this is somehow being kept secret from us by some vast conspiracy to keep us in the dark, only to be revealed in some and crappy poorly written self-published book and a six-hour long rambling video on YouTube is, well - ridiculous.
It is not only ridiculous but IMO also an insult to our ancient ancestors as if to say that, no they couldnt have possibly accomplished these great feats of engineering that they did without our modern technology or even something more advanced than what we know today.
The very thing that makes the 7 Wonders of the Ancient World (and of original 7 Wonders only the Great Pyramid of Giza still survives today) so wondrous is that they were able to accomplish such great feats of engineering and building without the aid of modern high powered and advanced machinery or power tools or of computers, just using basic math and basic algebra, the discovery of the magic of Pi and rather simple tools long with a whole lot of ingenuity and also a whole lot of very hard and often back breaking and often for the workers, ultimately deadly physical labor.
There are indeed some ancient technologies that were for a time lost to us. One example was the discovery and use of concrete by the Romans. And in fact, Roman concrete seems to have been superior to our modern equivalent.

As someone very interested and rather well read in the history of Brittan from the Neolithic age to the Elizabethan era, Stonehenge, while much researched, still holds secrets that are still being uncovered so still quite fascinating. And no, it has nothing to do with Ancient Alien or hidden secret technology. The actual history as we know it today is by multitudes more interesting.
It should also be mentioned that Stonehenge is not the only megalithic monument or similar stone circles and associated structures found in Brittan or for that matter in Western Europe, some in stone but many earlier ones including on the greater Stonehenge site, made with wooden posts, but the similarities perhaps pointing to a shared culture and shared religious beliefs across much of Western Europe during this period and of migrations of these peoples to new lands including Brittan and perhaps migrations and trade back to mainland Europe over hundreds if not thousands of years.
For instance, there have been beads found in late Neolithic sites dating to the age of the last phases and use of Stonehenge as a ceremonial site that are made from materials only found it the Baltic regions and of tin alloys found in very early ancient Greece from the nearly the same era that could have only come from mines in Cornwall in Brittan.
We dont know exactly why it (Stonehenge) and other similar structures were built but they all seem to have sun alignments. Where these people keenly interested in astronomy? Or were they just aware from practical observation that the movement of the sun rises and sun sets and more importantly the marking the shortest and longest days of the year, the marking of the seasons, would tell them of the best time to plant and to harvest. That is the much more likely explanation. There also seems to be ceremonial purposes that point to ancestor worship and early forms of pre-pagan religious beliefs and even earlier indications of the practice of human sacrifice. And yes our early European ancestors practiced human sacrifice.
We do not know exactly how these people some 4,000 years ago and before the invention of the wheel, moved such massive stones, some coming from relatively close as 20 miles away but others, the blue stones as from far away as 140 miles in what we know today as Wales or how they cut and excavated them without modern tools or even metal tools as this predates the cooper, bronze and iron ages.
Some research by practical archeologists however indicates that these people used shallow draft wooden boats at the time to move goods and trade with other peoples and settlements, some a quite distance away as there have been discoveries of pre-iron age peoples in Brittan trading and importing good from not only as far away was mainland Europe but even farther such as the Mediterranean and even as far away as the Middle East, and may have used these boats and the rivers to move the stones, and on land used rather simple sledges rolled along wooden rollers along with rather simple rope and pulley systems along with earthen ramps to assist in hoisting the stone lintels on top. While it seems to us to be impossible without modern technology, for them, it wasnt.
If we reasonably postulate that these monuments had first and foremost the practical purpose of acting as a calendar to predict the seasons on which these ancient people, as early agricultural societies, depended on for their very survival, once having moved from a nomadic hunter gatherer society to a more settled and agricultural centered society, along with their pre-pagan ancestor worshipping religion that compelled them to also build such structures, the lengths to which they would go, the ingenuity they would come up with and all the very hard labor involved, perhaps taking multiple generations to finally complete, there is little doubt that they could have and indeed build them with only the technology developed and available to them at the time.
It is not at all impossible for them to have engineered solutions using the available technology of their day if they as a people believed their very lives depended on it which it would have if used as a calendar to mark the changing seasons and also to the memory or afterlife of their ancestors who they may have believed portended good or bad fortune on them. If building these structures was that important to them practicably and spiritually and if every man, woman and child was committed to this endeavor, there is no doubt that they could have and would have accomplished it even absent modern tools and technology.
So rather than this being a hidden or secret technology keep from us by them, it is actually being studied by actual modern scientists and archeologists and not being kept a secret from us.
Likewise, if there was any real evidence for any ancient power drills or nuclear weapons and such, scientists would be all over it and not left it relegated to the realm of internet and self-published book cranks and kooks.
Keeping an open mind is a virtuebut, as the space engineer James Oberg once said, not so open that your brains fall out.
“...fibrous structure on the inside with a shell around it.”
Obviously prehistoric golf balls (1960’s style, not today’s solid ones). No mystery here.
Weird stuff.
