US forces reportedly conducted an airstrike on a minivan in a north-western Syrian city on Tuesday, killing two targets just 10 miles away from where former ISIS leader Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi was killed in a raid in October.
The targeted strike was said to have involved the use of a secret Ninja missile, known as the AGM-114R9X, which substitutes the explosive warhead found on standard missiles for a set of six folding sword-like blades, designed to smash through buildings and vehicles with minimal civilian casualties.
According to The Warzone, the hit was carried out in Atmeh, located in Syrias Idlib province, which is around five miles from the Turkish border and fewer than 10 miles from Barisha, where al-Baghdadi was found to be hiding in a compound.

Because all of our other weapons are so nice and friendly.
NPR did a story yesterday saying the two in the van were innocent civilians along with a third man who lost a hand in the incident.

Between this and our weaponized dogs, I’m impressed.
Now the Navy needs sharks with laser beams on their heads.
It should still blow up stuff afterword, just to be sure.
So, it’s a kinetic weapon. How cruel and unusual to pinpoint destruction rather than wreak it indiscriminately.

Great for those that want to live by the sword .....
Alahwahoo Whackbar!

Did you see that title lengths have been increased on FR? Shouldn’t have to TR any more.
Unfortunately it’ll probably leave more witnesses and more interesting visuals for the press to photograph than the explosive kind, meaning, the press will have a field day making us look like the bad guys.
So what happens to the missile after it slices and dices? Does it just lay there on the site of the destruction?
All the better for enemy intel to reverse engineer.
