I couldn’t watch, the ad with all the suffering animals was too much, even for a couple seconds. But The Carol Burnett Show was great, as were most of the comedies back then. They managed to actually be hilarious without it having to do with sex or bashing a member of the opposite.

Salutations from a blustery, frigid tarmac at Andrews Air Force Base.

President Trump boarded Air Force One at 5:06 PM without taking questions from the pool. He waved several times.

We are taking the smaller plane today to Battle Creek, Michigan, where the president will give remarks at a campaign rally.

The TV in the main cabin appeared to be on Fox News.

Also spotted boarding the plane were Jared Kushner, Dan Scavino and Stephen Miller, among others.

We will be taxiing soon.

Subject: Travel pool #2 — arrival in Michigan

We landed in Battle Creek, Michigan at 635 PM, and POTUS came off plane at 651 PM, followed by RNC chairwoman Ronna McDaniel.

About 150 people braved the below-freezing temperatures to cheer for POTUS when he walked off. He waved to the crowd but did not walk over. Packed snow is on the ground.

He did not come over to the pool. “Doing good,” he said, to shouted questions from the pool as he climbed into the Beast. It appeared he was answering a question about how he was feeling.

We are rolling to his rally at 657 PM. It is expected to be about a 10-15 minute drive

Pooler also spotted Acting Chief of Staff Mick Mulvaney is on the trip.
