I cheat on the chocolate fudge
Melt 3 cups of Gus ride long (Guaridelli) chocolate chips about two minutes
Usually mix milk with 1/2 pkg of dark. P
Add can of condensed milk and Tablespoon of real vanilla (Usually just put vanilla on top of milk so it’s ready)

Stir like crazy COOL /cut. While stirring Add NUTS for liberal fudge and leave alone for conservative.

I use my grandmothers caramel recipe. Only using a candy thermometer has made it easier. Still takes some time.

Just finished for the day. Springerle are in the back porch resting overnight and I’m hoping to too.

Unfortunately, the cancer rages on, he refuses to have Chemo or an operation.

And I think he is worried about all the animals but Jackie will make sure they are well cared for.

He just wants to live well no matter how long he has and doesn’t want us to get all weepy on him.

Actually it is mainly held in upper body. I guess if the legs are swollen too...I don’t know. I take a daily diuretic, but my kidneys have been deteriorating. Once too much water got around my heart I could hardly walk across the room and my resting heart rate was like 120. They gave me IV Lasix.

Ziploc or glad boxes in my back room I turn the heat off most of the time before January and it doubles as a refrigerator/ freezer.

Thus far there are twelve containers stacked on work table. Three more ready to roll and the springerle resting till morning.

A SIL makes us springerle cookies every year. As a trade off I have to make her ole fashion fudge. She is so good at how she makes them. She uses a Swedish press and they are paper thin. Her husband is diabetic so I take the fudge to her out to the garage where she works. That way it isn't around her husband. She answers the phone for the guys working there.

The answer to your Elite friend is quite simple:

In both cases we had a corrupt FBI. a corrupt DOJ and a corrupt swamp of both Dem and GOP covering for each other, over a multi-year period.

To be fair, now that the FBI/DOJ is cleaned up, and the Swamp is missing a lot of the politicos in the past two years, let’s see what the indictment/imprisonment record is over the next year or so.

Then you can compare records accurately.

Well I’m sitting, have feet up but am drinking a soft drink. Wanted to try on what I’m wearing to the ballet tomorrow to make sure it all fits. P Sis gave him a suit jacket. He’s so excited. Gave him a plate of cookies and milk in exchange for a ham & cheese sammich. I got the best end.
