He doesn’t want it. He wants to be excused. But can’t think of a way out without looking like a quitter.
I’m not suggesting that he has ‘Alzheimers’.
Many years ago, I encountered a physician whose sister had been diagnosed with ‘Alzheimers’.
I told him that I was very concerned that every case of apparent senile dementia was being lumped into ‘Alzheimers’ - and he agreed with me.
Biden’s problem is that he’s a lazy man with no original ideas, who takes and follows orders to maintain his comfortable position. He has no interest in being President - he’s just a ‘place holder’ - and happy to oblige.

I nibble my husband's fingertips from time to time, I'll admit. His knuckles too. And yes, we are normal spouses on the friendliest of terms.
