This all started out with a whole lot of rain until the temps fell so you may not just get rain.

A friend of ours and CB posted a snow picture on FB and said the brown you see is not the road but a river that is running down the road.

Snowplow just went down our road, finally.

Wow, those are beautiful, I didn’t even know they had candle toppers.

They are only for the 22oz. candles. They burn evenly and last a lot longer. Safer too. With three cats I really have to think of safety. On nights our lights are out I put the candles in our sinks. Very safe that way. Now my son burns his in his sink. The one thing he listened to..lol He also has a cat.

Almost all our corn grown here in southern DE is for animal feed.

Our three main crops are wheat,corn and soybeans. Lots of veggies and watermelon also.

It was nice to see a new crop in the rotation cycle this year.

Wow—good stuff—especially for those allergic to wheat, which is heavily modified now from the wheat we grew up with.

Lots of magnesium in sorghum—very important nutrient.

We have a little bit of turkey left and I’m thinking about making some ham salad, with leftover ham.

I thought for sure that was dirt, but couldn’t figure out why the snow melted there :-) so it’s just a river from the rain? that Would be a lot of rain! Glad you’re getting all the moisture you want. And it’s early in the winter too.

Good morning!!

We had leftovers for dinner last night, now have to come up with other things to do with turkey.

My MIL always made a casserole on the 3rd day and would use most of the leftovers in it, except salads, and maybe not the pie, no definitely not the pie.

I bought a turkey breast and a ham, decided to save ham for Sunday dinner.

I will be looking for things to do with ham leftovers next week, ham salad does sound good.

We were told not to look for much snow this winter but lots of rain, well we got both.

Summer moisture was a big disappointment so any moisture in any form will be much welcomed.
