Pets know things. We’re having rain all day today. Both the dogs came over knowing the canned food is stored here. They usually split a can in bad weather. Under their dry food with a little warm water added to make gravy. Well last night they each got two cans. I felt sorry for them and gave each a can and then they conned P into giving them each one. Little devils point to what they want and lick their lips. Who said dogs can’t talk.

Am coming down with Ps virus. Runny nose and slight fever. Took a decongestant and rubbed down with Vick’s. Slept well Feel much better this morning.

We are expecting a lot of rain tomorrow.

Just about all of the crops have been harvested, so that’s good.

Saw a weird looking crop growing in various places this year—it was sorghum—a new crop for southern DE.

LG..did your son get home safely? Raining here since last night. My bones were aching all yesterday so I went to bed early. Fixed a dinner for the guys and me and not long after cleaned the kitchen and went to bed. I fell much better today even though its still raining.

Our stray stayed the entire nite and was sleeping at almost 6:00am this morning. Its a first! Yelled when my husband went out to put food in the bowl. So apparently waiting for him. Even came out from in back of the door from another end and stayed under our 3 foot eaves and ate. Rocky came through the nite and ate his Italian food we put under our Maple tree.

My big deal yesterday was from Yankee candle company. I purchased 12 candle toppers for $82.00. Included the free shipping and $5.39 tax and $44.00 coupon off. Two of my Christmas thank you gifts will be candles with toppers.and for unexpected gifts.

Sorghum AKA milo is a corn substitute in dryer climates. About the same nutrient profile as corn. Main use is animal feed and also can be used to make fuel (or drinking) ethanol.

Son got home just fine except he was agitated about the person who stopped right in the middle of the lane and everybody had to go around, don’t know what some people are thinking.

Hubby took him this morning as we did get a few inches more and were not sure how the back roads were, haven’t seen a plow yet.
