I received word from 2ndDivisionVet wife that he passed away.
I am not using his real name here out of respect but, will ping his handle and his wife can if she would like.
I didn't ask what he died from but, knowing him for better than 10 years, I knew of medical conditions and a few terrible Operations he had.
He was a wonderful human being who cared deeply for his fellow Americans and the ideals that make this country so great that people the world over want to come here and be free, live in liberty and be whoever they want
If you have ever spoke with 2ndDivisionVet, you know he was quick witted and wry.
What had always amazed me about him was not just his humor but, his ability to somehow take life in stride despite all he endured and be cheerfull.
He was amazingly resourceful in scouring the web for article we might find interesting.
Yes, 2ndDivisionVet really cared about all of us and our presence in his life gave him purpose
I really wish God had let him stay but, my thoughts are more selfish than the absolute knowledge that he is in a better place.
I hope to see him again one day.
Rest in peace and smile down on us 2ndDivisionVet
Looks like a bunch of leftwing Catholics who want to normalize LGBTQ and abortion. You could probably find 292 cannibals on twitter.
Pedos.
RIP
Hand Salute.
A loss for us all. I will miss his posts. Condolences to his family. Rest in peace, Vet.
Just read the news, so sorry. He and I traded numerous comments over the years, his wit and good common sense reminded me of the people of my home state Iowa. I pray his family finds peace and strength during the days ahead.
My prayers to family and friends.
RIP, 2ndDivisionVet.
Prayers for family.
Really sorry to hear this. God bless you sir.
FR needs thread starters.
I wanna to give a shout out to another one, Kaslin, we appreciate you girl. ;-D
Yeah, my problem is I’m a responder, not a starter. I’ve got almost 109,000 replies but a paltry 82 threads. I’m terrible at formatting a starting post and trying to figure out what is even worthy enough to start a thread over.
Just copy 2DVet, scan for news, post it if no one has yet. You don’t have to even say anything about it.
Me? My problem is I’m lazy as hell.
And I don’t always like getting clogged with general replies in my ping list. ;d
And FR bans some sources because they complained about their precious intellectual property being posted, an inconvenience.
A) I didn’t know Kaslin was a girl.
B) she seems to have been deleted

I didn’t know what gender Kaslin was, either. Deleted account ? No, she’s here.
Yeah. She didn’t come up on search yesterday, but today okay.
Another one from great state of Tennessee.
We’re from the same state, but we’re not close (as in close contact/FReeper friends).
Indeed
I am truly saddened to hear this. I realize i am a bit behind the curve here, but I have not been on FR a lot lately. I always enjoyed my interactions with him and found his posts both informative and humorous. Prayers up for the loved ones and family, and may God be with them in their time of need.
