Is there any way for this “impeachment” to get to the courts or SCOTUS before it gets to articles of impeachment ?

Could DOJ bring charges against Schiff or implicate Schiff ?
The Privilege from Arrest clause doesn’t provide immunity from arrest.
The Speech and Debate Clause does provide almost absolute immunity for what Schiff is doing.
However, if they could prove conspiracy, from say, the whistle-blower or anybody who was “coached” or coerced to lie by Schiff, could they have them implicate Schiff ?

Can an issue where there is no court case, be brought before SCOTUS for an opinion ? For instance...
Is the President covered under a treaty even if he doesn’t know it exists ?

Did anyone hear that dog trainer on Jesse Watters? It was strange. Jesse was talking to him about the military dogs and the guy was telling him a bit about them, then when they were wrapping it up, the guy asked Jesse if he could just give a quick PSA about the dogs, so Jesse said he could. Then the guy says, and I’m paraphrasing, “If anyone is interested now in having one of these dogs, please get one that is already trained rather than trying to train one yourself. And Jeffrey Epstein did not kill himself.”

It was strange. Sounds like there’s some action maybe going to happen with regard to Epstein. I thought there was some big investigation taking place regarding the prison, etc. Hopefully it’s not yet another thing that goes by the wayside.
