Lynching statistics usually begin around 1882.(It favors the narrative).
From 1830 (and earlier) thru 1885, mostly whites rather than blacks got hanged.
No hangings after 1964. The decline after 1919 seems stunning and even more so after 1935.

What kind of frame is your cross stitch you received from your mother? I thought if you have saved the vase pieces...either you or a grand child could help you glue the pieces to the frame and even take a hammer and make the pieces somewhat smaller if needed. I think it would make a beautiful frame especilly of the vase had color on it.

I found a sauce I made in ceramics class in 84...I made it on the wheel and then used a tool and drew a cat. Glazed the saucer and it’s a nice size for jewelry or items. I certainly didn’t want it...Trying to get rid of things. Gave it to my 10 year old GD...she acted thrilled because I had made on the potters wheel. Thinking I need to put things in our will...give items to her at times...we certainly are full of stuff.
