I can almost taste the soup.
Part of why I took time off was having to do with my mother’s dementia. It got worse very quickly. My sister flew up and the two sisters and I had to take her to an assisted living facility. It was the hardest thing I’ve ever had to do as I had promised my dad on his deathbed that I would take care of her. Neither sister was able or willing to do so. But with my health and her deteriorating mental state I could no longer do it. She was with me 8 years almost to the day. I’m trying not to feel guilty because she is still having a tough time away from her routine. I’m forever a Mama’s boy. Too old to be ashamed to say it.

I was falling asleep during eating too
So glad this is behind us. Found out my next door neighbor got bit by a tick about the same time. Her dr immediately put her on antibiotics. She was well before I even got seen. (My dr will hear about it)

My mom had dementia. I was still teaching and dad was her primary care giver. After she passed, at 85 he came to live with me. “Best ten years” a person could ask for. Never regret honoring our parents. What I couldn’t do for mama I did in honor of her love for him. Proud to be the apple of his eye! Only wish others had similar relationships with parents. Miss him!

The press seemed respectful at this Oval Office signing of the Japan agreement. I wonder if only a few were allowed in. PDJT was excellent, as usual.

PDJT said that he was at the UN, walking in to meet with a head of state when he saw, on a public screen, the information about the latest attack on him from the House. The left is so evil. They had planned this attack since last summr and brought it out to mess with PDJT's great speech and meetings at the UN.

Schiff, Pelosi,etc. were successful in keeping PDJT's great UN appearance out of the news. They were not successful in keeping him from being terrific.

IIRC I remember an incident in the past where an IG wrote a report about misuse of funds by a CA Mayor who was a former basketball star and black.

The IG lost his job.

Now who fired him Holder, Obummer or someone else I would have to do some research.
