Flying in the mane cabin! Emotional support miniature HORSE is seen sitting on a passenger's lap on flight from Chicago to Omaha - before it's filmed trotting along through the airport
Two separate Twitter users filmed a woman travelling on a the 1hr 30min American Airlines flight with her miniature pony on Thursday
US Department of Transport has published new guidelines allowing passengers to bring the emotional support animals on domestic flights
Airlines could now face fines if they block travelers from bringing the pets onto planes if they are designated as 'service animals'
Traveling with 'emotional support animals' has exploded in popularity in recent years, with ducks and kangaroos accompanying owners on flights
First it was a kangaroo, then an emotional support duck. Now a miniature horse has become the latest unusual animal to accompany a passenger aboard a flight. On Thursday, a Twitter user by the name of Ewan Nowak posted a video to Twitter that showed the adorable tiny horse aboard a packed American Airlines plane. Nowak, who shared the clip with Storyful, says he noticed the animal shortly after boarding the aircraft which was travelling from Chicago to Omaha. The footage shows the pony fast asleep on its owner's lap on the packed plane. 'At this time we would like to begin boarding with any active duty military, families traveling with children under the age of 3, and horses,' Nowak humorously wrote.

It’s a safety issue too.
I used to ride a horse named Eddie Smith. Like most horses he goes as we ride. But when you got him running fast he would continually audibly fart. badadump (fart) badadump (fart)badadump (fart)badadump (fart)
badadump (fart)
My concern would be passenger safety

You would think that the airlines would be fearful of lawsuits. Its bound to happen.
I, too, could potty-train a macaw but it was not so elaborate as this. When outside her cage, there was a designated poop perch and if she was out longer than 20 minutes, I would take her to the perch and let her drop cargo. She knew the drill. It was very effective.
Dog leading horse.
Ignore the single quotes, and the picture must be on a web server (not just your computer). I need the single quotes so it is not interpreted as a command
‘<’img src = “web address” ‘>’
many times you need to use width = xxx to not take up the whole screen, so that would look like
‘<’ img src = “web address” width=450 ‘>’
as far as getting the web address, if you are on a regular computer most pictures on the interwebs allow you to copy the “image location”, which is the URL address, so right click then copy location, then just paste it. On an IPhone you can usually (not always) press and hold on the picture which will open it in another “window”, from which you can simply copy the URL.
Every website around has an easy image upload. After all these years you would think FR would too.
What a disgusting self centered freak. What is this asinine behavior enabled?
i know. So what if it rips the faces off of other passengers? If you don’t like it then you’re a bigot.
I would not want to sit ext to this horse.Where are my rights?
There is a loophole in the ADA act. You must accommodate service animals but you cant ask for a certificate certifying them as such. So welcome to the circus.
Close the loophole.
Soon they will be authorizing elephants for the task.
The alternative is everyone get a “service” animal to create havoc and force the change.
“Like most horses he goes as we ride. But when you got him running fast he would continually audibly fart. “
My wife was around horses all her life but I never was.
It was out 4th or 5th date and she took me on a trial ride. Both of our horses were farting up a storm. I was cracking up.
25 years later helping her muck out the barn and hearing them fart is nothing.
Was cranberry sauce and stuffing also allowed on board?
Never really thought about a support animal “needing” it’s own support animal but I’m sure one or more fraudster will try it.
But I’m not allowed to take my emotional support Ruger 9mm on board?? It makes me quite happy each time I’m at the range. It keeps me safe when I’m home. It accompanies me on road trips. It’s housebroken, has a safety, and can easily be carried in a zippered bag that stows nicely under the seat in front of me.
LAUGHING OUT LOUD! That made my day.
When their tails go up, they’re dumping.
