Flying in the mane cabin! Emotional support miniature HORSE is seen sitting on a passenger's lap on flight from Chicago to Omaha - before it's filmed trotting along through the airport
Two separate Twitter users filmed a woman travelling on a the 1hr 30min American Airlines flight with her miniature pony on Thursday
US Department of Transport has published new guidelines allowing passengers to bring the emotional support animals on domestic flights
Airlines could now face fines if they block travelers from bringing the pets onto planes if they are designated as 'service animals'
Traveling with 'emotional support animals' has exploded in popularity in recent years, with ducks and kangaroos accompanying owners on flights
First it was a kangaroo, then an emotional support duck. Now a miniature horse has become the latest unusual animal to accompany a passenger aboard a flight. On Thursday, a Twitter user by the name of Ewan Nowak posted a video to Twitter that showed the adorable tiny horse aboard a packed American Airlines plane. Nowak, who shared the clip with Storyful, says he noticed the animal shortly after boarding the aircraft which was travelling from Chicago to Omaha. The footage shows the pony fast asleep on its owner's lap on the packed plane. 'At this time we would like to begin boarding with any active duty military, families traveling with children under the age of 3, and horses,' Nowak humorously wrote.

Soon someone's emotional support animal will be a 30' python and lawyers will get a court ruling that other passengers cannot object, because after all, the snake IS the owner's EMOTIONAL SUPPORT.
You're right... we've have gone beyond absurd.
Having a little trouble with this one. Is the horse emotional support for the pig or the pig emotional support for the horse?
Post of the day. Thank you!
“What happens during an emergency evacuation?”
A bunch of people are going to die.
“Dog can be house broken. Horses can not.”
Yep, when that horse lets go it’s gonna let go.

I put all my images on IMAGESHACK.
I then use this handy BASIC HTML CODE GENERATOR to generate the links for photos, etc. You just paste in the url, and it generates the code.

She should be banned from flying for five years.
I want to take my support africanized bees with me on a flight- oooh- and my emotional support black widows too- or my blue ringed octopi - or my ...
It’s only a six hour drive from chicago to omaha.
We have gone full blood retarded
LMAO!
Forget evacuation, what about the rights of the seatmates?
That horse wasn’t just on her lap.
I’m allergic to cats and highly allergic to horses. I can’t imagine sitting next to one for five hours
I have visions of the buses in third world countries hauling everything from goats to chickens across country.
A Percheron would be more fitting to her girth.

You can't just snag a favorite picture from a desktop folder...it has to be hosted someplace on line to be posted here.
Best bet is to save the image to an image hosting service, I use Photobucket. In Firefox right click and select "Copy image location", in Safari right click and select "Open image in new tab" and copy the address in the address bar. Other browsers have similar tricks.

Note the exquisite wimpiness of the pet owner - the ad agency must have really worked at it.
Your wish.
My command...
Not counting of course if that horse wants to drop a load. My concern would be passenger safety and I would refuse to allow that animal on my plane, right up to the point where corporate said I’d be fired if I didn’t allow it on board. It’s still a safety issue. AA once allowed a pig onboard that wound up running up and down the aisle.
Do you suppose they would allow my support animal, Rupert the honey badger, aboard the plane? I mean, he is really cute, if a bit bad tempered.
Must be a democrat.
A Republican would have an emotional support pachyderm...
