POTUS approached the South Lawn at 3:46 p.m., with temperatures hovering above 90 degrees. He made his way over to the large crowd of assembled press as Marine One sat waiting.

Putin: Talked about wildfires in Russia and offered U.S assistance. It was a “short talk but a good talk.”

Marine One landed at Joint Base Andrews at 4:21 p.m. POTUS stepped off and was accompanied by aides Stephanie Grisham, Stephen Miller and Dan Scavino.

The president waved to the pool but did not come over to take questions. He boarded the plane at 4:26, and waved at the top of the steps.

POTUS stepped off Air Force One at 5:50 p.m. and shook hands with the officials mentioned in a previous report.

Your pooler also spotted former Trump campaign manager Corey Lewandowski under the wing of Air Force One as we waited for the president. He told co-pooler Gabby Orr that he was on the plane.

Pool loaded into vans and the motorcade is rolling to U.S. Bank Arena at 5:54 p.m.

Motorcade arrived at U.S. Bank Arena at 6:11 p.m. after an uneventful ride that featured a picturesque view of the Cincinnati skyline and the home of the NFL’s Cincinnati Bengals.

Your pooler spotted onlookers recording the motorcade on their phones and a table selling Trump-related merchandise along the sidewalk near the arena.

Your pooler did not spot the president enter the building.

Prior to his rally, the president is scheduled to attend a fundraising committee reception for Trump Victory. The Trump campaign declined to provide further details.
