I heard..is this unusual? We've had Japanese Beetles really bad. They have eaten several of my flowers. I tried the soapy water thing.....nothing ever works with household remedies. Ants the same.

CONFIRMED -- It appears a high ranking Mexican PRI official and close ally of former Mexican President Peña Nieto, the ex-governor of Chihuahua, César Duarte was arrested on corruption charges by INTERPOL in Italy, approximately three weeks ago on July 11, 2019. *BREAKING* #MAGA
Seems there is a strong effort at the moment by the Mexican PRI political party apparatus to "spin" this story out of the news cycle. Several links from what has been able to be confirmed from a tip received yesterday are attached.
There is no sign of this news in the U.S. media and you will probably not find it announced elsewhere as the Mexican PRI's "bad news mitigation" machine seems to be working on it. Here is another link
Here is a link from the Mexican press reporting that ex-Governor César Duarte was detailed in Florence, Italy on July 11, 2019. The arrest of a Governor of one of Mexico's 32 states is big news.
It was reported that at least 21 arrest warrants were issued for Governor Duarte, formerly a close ally of Mexican President Peña Nieto and high ranking member of the PRI political party.
