I heard..is this unusual? We've had Japanese Beetles really bad. They have eaten several of my flowers. I tried the soapy water thing.....nothing ever works with household remedies. Ants the same.

Been here since 1984 and we have never had grasshoppers like this before, we also have green box elders, stink bugs. None of these are out my way.

We also get these big black beetles. YUK.
They are called Palo Verde beetles.
HUGE 3 to 4 inches.
