Well, the producers of the 007 films have jumped the shark as far as I am concerned and my thinks the box office will crash when 'she' hits the screen--

If they want a black female spy, create a black female spy, don’t do a sex-change on an established character.
They are not recasting James Bond as a black woman.
Most FReepers posting do not understand that because they do not read the articles and just react to headlines.
Lemme guess....she’ll become romantically involved with a male agent named Dick Coxworth.
At least Lara Croft and the Tomb Raider series is original content. It wasn’t just a sex-swapped “Larry Croft” banking on the success of existing games and media.
You write that as if toxic masculinity is a bad thing.
“You write that as if toxic masculinity is a bad thing.”
No, you can’t read or write, evidently.
My contention is that there is no such thing as toxic masculinity.
It is a made-up, pejorative term by Leftists that suggestible people take up and run with.
I was confused when I saw this, I thought Lorretta Lynch was the next James Bond.
So he quits and some b gets his number? That in an of itself is not offensive to me at all presuming she’s just a minor character and gets her head blown off. But do they actually plan to continue the movies with her as the star? It’s not clear to me. That would be friggin bizzare. I just read Richard Madden is the betting favorite to be the next Bond so......”Yahoo news” are just a bunch of a-holes trying to stir up trouble?
Anyway I saw this most recent Bond film only once (SPECTRE), it was dumb and I have no desire to see it again, it’s the only Bond film I can say that about, even Quantum of Solace. I hope this next one will be better but I won’t hold my breath.
The problem with all this business is that the franchise has always been about James Bond, who happened to be an Mi5 or Mi6 agent 007. Any particular person can be assigned one of those numbers, but once Bond is succeeded by someone else as 007, it CEASES to be about James Bond.
I believe this film will be a failure if she tries to carry it alone.
Yahoo News is several steps below the National Inquirer in terms of levity.
AA all the waaa-aaay!
Probably time for me to flush my toilet.
Supposedly, the original director of the current dreck in production wanted to kill 007 off. Maybe they do and the number 007 is reassigned to an AA.
I predict that theyll make the name James Bond a code name for whoever is assigned/designated 007.
If youre going to go retard, might as well go full retard.
Again, I havent watched a Bond flick since the snooze fest with the invisible car and have no plans to change that.
I learned over the weekend that Natalie Portman will be Thor, too.
Men apparently aren’t wanted.
What is absurd, too, is that they’re refusing to cast an ATTRACTIVE woman in this role (Miss Lynch might be a talented actress for all we know, but she is unattractive to the point of even being mistaken for tranny). Had the producers cast a really ugly middle-aged actor as Bond in 1962 instead of Connery, the movie would’ve bombed. If you’re going to place a young woman in a leading role of this sort, she has got to be physically attractive and desirable.
Now, an unattractive female CAN compensate if she is funny, multi-talented and charismatic. Look at Nell Carter back on “Gimme a Break !” She was no supermodel, but she had the personal likeability, humor, humanity, sass and charisma to make a star. She stood out even in a small role in a Chevy Chase film vehicle back in 1981, “Modern Problems.” I’m just not getting that vibe at all from Ms. Lynch.
Surely there are countless Black women out there who could’ve been a better choice if they were going to go in this direction.
An ultra-leftist. No surprise.
Thats ok. This man wont be $pending on the PC crap; Im sure many more wont either.
Thanks fieldmarshaldj.
The big money is made in Asia, hence all the "cartoons' as feature films.
A black; female Bond may be more visually appealing then yet another white male.
