The problem with all this business is that the franchise has always been about James Bond, who happened to be an Mi5 or Mi6 agent 007. Any particular person can be assigned one of those numbers, but once Bond is succeeded by someone else as 007, it CEASES to be about James Bond.
I believe this film will be a failure if she tries to carry it alone.

Supposedly, the original director of the current dreck in production wanted to kill 007 off. Maybe they do and the number 007 is reassigned to an AA.
I predict that they’ll make the name “James Bond” a code name for whoever is assigned/designated 007.

Again, I haven’t watched a Bond flick since the snooze fest with the invisible car and have no plans to change that.
