Kansas Citians had their eyes to the sky Thursday evening, trying to get a glimpse of two mysterious white, spherical objects floating over the city. The National Weather Service of Kansas City brought attention to the matter just before 8 p.m. and posted a photo to Twitter, adding it had no explanation for the small orbs.

Actually this happened at my house in the back yard security camera system. White orbs.
Turns out they are spiders that fluoresce as a result of the infrared wavelength from the camera lens. The round abdomen of the spiders drifts in and out from movement of their spider web. The rest of the body does not fluoresce.

" Later on, when I told a coworker about it he suggested that I had seen an Air Jet of some kind. I dont think so."

I posted on here a year ago about an experience a friend and I had 47 years ago in the Nevada desert. Two people I shared the experience with this year, neither of whom having been there to witness it and having zero expertise in military technology, declared that is was military. The subtext to their skepticism was "gee, you're gullible".

They didn't seem to understand the statement "it broke all of the laws of nature as we know them."

After the object departed one of the first things my friend and I discussed was, should we tell anyone? This is one of the reasons why my friend and myself didn't tell anyone for a year about the experience except family members.

The picture looks like weather balloons to me.
Sometimes they do not burst as they ordinarily do, and float around for a while.
I had thousands of weather balloons launched by my unit during my career.
I think we had the most launches of any single site.
They were in support of testing at Yuma Proving Ground.
We launched somewhere about 30-50 thousand while I was there. Hard to have the exact figures without the records, but we started at about a thousand a year, and ended with about 2,500 a year or more over a 23 year period.
We launched from three main sites consistently with others as required.

Been seeing a lot of crazy cloud formations in West Texas, but never seen them. Kinda small in that image, but you can tell they are way up there. We I’ll have to keep an eye out for em.
