Sadly in my area the EMS are busy all day and night trying to save OD victims. Its a BIG problem.

I think back to the couple of evening I picked up the son and his mother walking along a busy US highway to go grocery shop for the restaurant . They had no car. She spoke no English. She waited till her seven year old son could accompany her to translate and make change at store.
I offered to take her and any groceries she wanted to buy back home. We became instant friends. Once his teachers found out the situation (she knew some Spanish & she made sure mama had a ride to grocery )
Life was so simple and open then. A lot more loving and trusting.

I think back at the evening mama told me she didn’t want to learn English, she just wanted to go home. Big tears. She missed her mother and sisters. My limited English and her young son trying to translate Tears and mama don’t need to be translated. (She and the kids did go back to Mexico most summers).

We have a HUGE homeless problem AND we have been giving low cost housing to illegals, at least Ben Carson is putting a stop to this!!! We have Vets living on the streets and we are housing illegals, GIVE ME A DAMN BREAK!!! Because of the mild weather conditions on the west coast OMG our cities look like a 3rd world country, 3 police officers have come down with a plague like disease that is deadly, because of massive homeless and rats all over our streets!! The fleas from these rats are carrying this disease!! The rats are now getting into the government buildings and are putting staff at risk!! People go feed the homeless and they don’t finish the food just throw it onto the streets along with the massive amounts of human excrement everywhere!!! The west coast is a mess everywhere, Seattle, Portland, San Francisco, LA. all run by DEMS!!! People are coming to a boiling point I think the pendulum is going to start swinging to the right!!!…
