I'm thinking that's another area...this area is a strong terrorist held area. If I'm thinking clearly...we have followed the Tiger Forces move upward to the higher area as they fought. This area I believe is bordering...I could be wrong....it borders Turkey. I follow map makers I really need to get on the stick and see if they have a good map of this heavily bombed area.

NIKK...searching more.

War in Syria(RESISTANCE AXIS 🇸🇾🇷🇺🇮🇷 Exclusive news from Syrian frontlines. ✌️) ‏

Warplanes destroyed 6 vehicles terrorists conwoy heading from Khan Shaykhoun to Hobait #Idlib

NIKK...where are the Kurdish areas?

Rudaw English(Rudaw delivers current news from the Middle East to a global audience through its award-winning platforms.)

ERBIL, Kurdistan Region — Parties opposed to the Russian-backed regime in Syria have been re-enforced by Turkey in recent days, according to two senior opposition forces and officials from Moscow.

Russian Maj. Gen. Viktor Kupschishin told TASS state-run news that nearly 1,000 Jabhat al-Nusra fighters were a part of the build-up in western Syria.

"Over the past two days, more than 800 militants, at least seven tanks, three armored infantry carries, 15 pickup trucks with heavy machineguns have been pulled to the southwestern part of the Idlib de-escalation zone. According to reconnaissance data, terrorists are planning to use from 2-4 cars stuffed with explosives and driven by suicide bombers to stage an offensive on the Syrian army," he said.

Turkey's state-run Anadolu Agency reported air attacks in Idlib throughout last week. It claimed the regime of Syrian President Bashar al-Assad was behind them.

The Russian general told TASS it was possible illegal armed groups may stage false-flag attacks, including the use of chemical weapons.

Syria's state-run SANA news agency reported clashes in Idlib on Saturday between government-backed and al-Nusra fighters.

According to SANA, the operations killed and wounded a group of terrorists. It added the operations destroyed weaponry including rocket launchers and arms.

The operations reportedly were in response to attacks earlier on Saturday staged by Turkish-backed militants on civilian houses, and public and private properties with RPGs in two villages on the in northern outskirts of Hama governorate.

On Friday, the Syrian forces destroyed dwellings belonging to the Nusra Front militants in Khan Sheikhoun, Habibat, Ahrash, Abidin, Muhayat Khas and Kafr Nabeel, SANA claimed.

NIKK..I'm more confused now. Part of this news is from Reuters...I really don't put much trust in them. They are really DEEP STATE NEWS.

Thanks. It is a little confusing. In that part of the world it’s hard to tell who the good guys are because there aren’t any. Some are just less bad than others.

I’ve just been reading an interesting thread by Heshmat

Heshmat Alavi
@HeshmatAlavi

The Iranian people (especially the Diaspora in the U.S.) are expressing their abhorrence about
NIACouncil
as the lobby voice of #Iran’s regime in the West.

Of course, NYT and CNN are there to help the mullahs.

I tried to post link to thread but I think they both just go to his Twitter.

Subject: Travel report #7: SUMO Toyko, Japan At 4:33 pm JST / 3:33 am ET POTUS, FLOTUS and pool are bound for the Ryōgoku Kokugikan Stadium in the capital, where POTUS has been given a role in of the most time-honored and hallowed of Japanese traditions: a sumo tournament. He will be the first American president to present a customized trophy to the winner. It’s going to be a spectacle: Some 11,500 people will in the arena seated on mats. The Trumps and the Abes will be seated in a VIP mat next to the sumo ring, which officials have told us is referred to as the sacred mound. It is customary to sit on the mats during the bashos. But POTUS will sit on a special chair to provide him with back support, according to an official who briefed the pool. He is expected to wear slippers when he walks onto the sacred mound, though shoes are generally not allowed. (FLOTUS will have to stay on the mat - women are not allowed on the mound.) At the end of the tournament, POTUS will present the President’s Cup trophy and read from a ceremonial scroll. **Trophy transit update: The President’s Cup trophy was transported from the hotel to the arena ahead of time. In its brief time in the Palace Hotel lobby spotlight, the cup drew a crowd of journalists and visitors, including William Hagerty, the US ambassador to Japan, before it was taken to the stadium. **

Subject: Travel pool report #8: Stadium arrival

Tokyo, Japan

POTUS arrived at the stadium at 4:49 pm after a 15 minute drive. People lined the streets or peered at the motorcade from their balconies. Many were filming, some were waving. Your pooler spotted several clusters of people wearing MAGA gear, waving American flags, or brandishing Trump 2020 signs.

The tournament is expected to start soon. Your pooler has requested additional background information on attendees from the White House.

Subject: Travel pool report #9: POTUS enters arena, photos

Tokyo, Japan

POTUS, FLOTUS and the Abes walked into the arena just before 5 pm. POTUS behaved much the way he does at rallies, by clapping and finger-pointing, before taking his seat. There was loud applause but your pooler could hear scattered “boos” as he took his seat.

Now sumo is underway. Photos attached.

Subject: Travel pool report #10: more from Sumo event

Tokyo, Japan

Both couples ended up seated in chairs - not on the customary mats - a few yards from the sumo ring. During the series of matches, POTUS,
wearing a pink tie, leaned over several times to whisper to FLOTUS, who was wearing a red dress. He also turned at different points to PM Abe and other officials who appeared to be explaining what was happening.

But largely, POTUS did not clap or react much when the wrestlers faced him, threw ceremonial salt or swayed from side to side. At breaks between matches, sumo officials with advertisements circled around the ring.

At first, POTUS sat leaning forward with his hands clasped, but then shifted back in his chair and crossed his arms as the program went on. Behind him were several aides including Stephen Miller, Dan Scavino, and Mick Mulvaney.

After about a half hour after POTUS arrived, the tournament ended: the wrestler Asanoyama sealed his win.

POTUS then left the arena. In his absence, the first of three championship cups were moved to the center of the ring. The crowd sang the Japanese national anthem and then applauded as sumo officials entered the ring and awarded the Championship Cup.

A second, very large silver cup was brought out to a very large round of applause. This one is called the Prime Minister’s Cup. PM Abe awarded the huge cup to Asanoyama. As Abe struggled with the weight of the cup, the wrestler stepped forward to take it from him. The crowd laughed.

Then the third cup, the President’s Cup, was unveiled to oohs and ahhs. POTUS then approached the ring to applause. He bowed slightly, the moved into the center of the ring.

He read from a scroll, a “Certificate of commemoration Asanoyama.”

“In honor of your outstanding achievement as sumo grand champion I hereby award you the President’s Cup,” POTUS said, adding the date under the Japanese era he called “Reiwa.” (The crowd was excited to hear him say this word, which describes the era under the new emperor.) He was drowned out at points so check against transcripts.

POTUS and another official sumo official lifted the cup and handed it to Asanoyama. POTUS smiled, clapped briefly, and left the ring.

We are rolling at 5:52 pm where the couples are scheduled to have dinner at a hibachi restaurant.

Subject: Travel pool report #11: Hibachi restaurant

Tokyo, Japan

Pool entered a hibachi restaurant at 6:10 pm or so after running the length of the motorcade parked on a busy street in the Roppongi neighborhood.

Once we entered, pool saw POTUS take a few food items and then speak briefly. “The prime minister and I talked a lot about trade, about military and various other things.” He said expects tomorrow will be similarly productive.

“That was an incredible evening at sumo,” POTUS said. “Sumo wrestling.”

“We bought that beautiful trophy,” he added, “which you’ll have hopefully for many hundreds of years.”

Your pooler could not make out the name of the place but attached a photo of it in case you’d like to google.

Pool was ushered out at 6:18 pm and we are holding at a nearby restaurant. Thanks to Sebastian Smith for help grabbing quotes.
