My time for hosting Survivor threads is over. I was only supposed to be a temporary replacement. I have long overstayed my time and I need to move on. Someone else needs to take over.

Maybe someone not currently on the ping list or previous thread may be interested in helping? It makes sense for the appeal to be cast for a bit wider audience to see who may have interest. No harm in it having been posted in chat, except in your thinking. thankfully you have the ability to scroll past posts - no need to try to find fault where there is none.
I just want to take a minute to thank you for all your hard and excellent work...and it is work.
I don’t get all the people here grousing about the thread. Some people clearly have too much time on their hands or are just born complainers. They could just ignore it...like the guy who said “Or we can just ignore Survivor,” but found it impossible to do so by posting anything in the first place.

I really enjoyed participating in it awhile back, when Kartographer was in charge. He left when his wife had a stroke.

If it was meaningless, you wouldn’t bother to look at the thread, much less comment on it. The mere fact that YOU have taken the time to comment means, by definition, that it has meaning to you. Yet, you seem unable to comprehend that simple, basic fact. Please, go be meaningless somewhere else.
