I just got a call from Windflier's wife, he has taken
a downturn from a pre-existing problem and is pretty
much bedridden and not eating.
He has stage 4 Squamous cell carcinoma which I had to look up:
Squamous cell carcinoma (SCC) is the second most
common form of skin cancer. It's usually found on
areas of the body damaged by UV rays from the sun or
tanning beds. Sun-exposed skin includes the head,
neck, chest, upper back, ears, lips, arms, legs, and
hands. SCC is a fairly slow-growing skin cancer.
I'm told he's in good spirits but is now "resistant"
to further medical treatment. Because he's stubborn.
Prayers for him and the family would be appreciated.
Thanks very much.
Here he is during better days:
Omg! Just saw this. Always enjoy your input sir. Prayers sent....
Thank you.
Prayers that today was a good/great day
Windflier?
Noooooo.
Prayers up for you Windflier, may you find grace, mercy and healing.
Oddly enough, inaction is the recommended course of action in prostate cancer in many cases.

depends on age.
If it is slow moving and one is in sixties or seventies, one will die first of other causes before the cancer comprimises them
Thank you, Chicken. I appreciate that very much.
Today was a good day, but I gotta tell you, my sense of time is really warped these days. I’ve been sleeping for twelve hours and up for sixteen, so I never know what day it is without consulting a calendar.
Prayers up for a speedy recovery.
My former girlfriend’s stepfather was given that recommendation and was dead in six months. Who cares if you’re incontinent or impotent? You’re all that if you’re dead, too. Older men just aren’t considered worth the trouble.

If it was rapid prostate cancer that would be a different story.
However, after a certain age, treatment is too much for many people, and one ends up more debilitated, more confused, more disoriented, more weak and although one may stretch it out another few months, the life quality is very poor.
Right back at ya, Windflier! May God shower you with blessings!

Passed with flying colors, A+.
Sorry for the random images, folks. I was just testing out a new link for my pics, which Photobucket now vandalizes with their watermark.
Thank you, Sport. I posted a couple of my photos from a new hosting site (ImageShack) to see if they have a watermark or not.
Fortunately, they don’t.
May confusion become no more. May your appetite come back. May you be well my friend. More prayers Windflier. May God hear us and restore your health. Amen Amen
