How imaginative Jessi. Breakfast is not only delicious but exciting to look at. I like that. And a beautiful plate as well. Good morning. Opened a window on the cat porch for the guys. They were excited. Its suppose to be in the low 70's here today. I love that!! I'm ready for warm weather. Leaves on my Oakleaf hydrangea are ready to pop open...and lilac bush. Peonies have pushed through the earth and are already a couple inches high. I am sooo ready for flowers to bloom.
Its time New York gets it into his head that Spring is there and move on to warmer weather. ..lol

The more I think about the Chinese women...I'm thinking it was a trap. What beet way to give her some rope and see where it goes? Now they have all they need to take her out. THE DEMS ARE IN PANIC MODE....Loving every minute of it.

I ordered three clematis plants on line. This company seems to do well sending me good sturdy plants. I have tried several times with clematis to no success. Why...it beats me. Everyone I know assures me they are hardy and easy to grow. For some reason they always die on me. I'm trying them in an entirely different area this time. In my back yard by the fence line. Several people here in town have them growing up their mail boxes and they are so beautiful! Well, I'm giving them another try.

What a sweet thing to say Rusty...I hope you have a good day as well. I always think of the sun when I picture you. It must be great living in an area of sunshine. Are bluebonnets in bloom around you anywhere? They look amazing in the pictures shown in Texas fields.

You must be more in the desert area? Have you read the Deputy Ricos series by Elizabeth A. Garcia? They are really good describing the area of Terlingua. A friend knows the author and she had Elizabeth sign one of her books for me. The books really explain the area and the people who decided to live there.

I haven’t read the books. I have been to Terlingua many times during my first life in Texas. I lived in Alpine and worked on ranches in that area. Last of the wild west.
I live in West Texas, but not far from the beginning of central Texas. So we have water and agriculture along with sheep and cattle. I think cotton is the main crop, but a lot of other things are grown here, like pecans.

Subject: WH travel pool report #23
The pool is back in the Ospreys departing Trump National Los Angeles.
We were loaded before the president emerge from the club and therefore, did not see him board Marine One.
The president’s dinner at the golf club was not opened to the press at any point. The only additional guidance the pool received was that it was not a fundraiser. (Not to be confused with the earlier dinner in Beverly Hills, which was a fundraiser)
At 9:46pm local time, we were wheels up for LAX.

Marine One landed back at LAX at 10:01pm local time, following an uneventful flight in the dark over the Pacific coast.
POTUS boarded Air Force One 5 minutes later. He waved to the travel pool and saluted the Air Force officers who greeted him before climbing the stairs. He waved once again before boarding.
At 10:12pm, Air Force One was rolling for the short flight to Las Vegas, where the president and travel pool are scheduled to spend the night.

Air Force One landed in Las Vegas, Nevada at 11:06pm local time after an uneventful flight. The pool hasn’t seen POTUS since he boarded.
Deputy Press Secretary Hogan Gidley popped by to chat. A few notes to share:
- he said POTUS talked immigration with the California lawmakers who were on the flight
- Hogan said he “would refute” reports that Stephen Miller played a role in Vitiello’s failed ICE nomination. He provided no alternative explanation
- A few co-poolers noticed that Frank Luntz was on the flight. Hogan was unaware of why Luntz had joined.
