Subject: WH travel pool report #25-Vegas arrival
Air Force One landed in Las Vegas, Nevada at 11:06pm local time after an uneventful flight. The pool hasn’t seen POTUS since he boarded.
Deputy Press Secretary Hogan Gidley popped by to chat. A few notes to share:
- he said POTUS talked immigration with the California lawmakers who were on the flight
- Hogan said he “would refute” reports that Stephen Miller played a role in Vitiello’s failed ICE nomination. He provided no alternative explanation
- A few co-poolers noticed that Frank Luntz was on the flight. Hogan was unaware of why Luntz had joined.
Luntz was on FnF from Vegas this morning. He actually sounded very conservative - for him.

President Trump disembarked Air Force One at 11:20pm. He waved and jumped immediately into the beast.
The motorcade is rolling to the RON as of 11:21pm.
