interesting comment:

“One thing nobody mentions is that his two Nigerian accomplices were dragged out of a townhouse on Ashland Ave, which is a scattered site building, located at 4138 N. Ashland. This is a primo spot for layabouts because it’s only a 5 unit townhouse building in a great area. PIN# 14-18-415-024-0000 pays no taxes. As far as I can tell it’s a hidden gem reserved for deep state Obama players. They may have lived here for years, may be squatting there under another name, or they may have other names. From what I understand they went to Lakeview HS across the street, but cannot confirm. If they were selling MOLY to whoever, isn’t that a violation of CHA rules? (I know, rules are meant to be broken) “

The Civil Rights Act of 1968 permits federal prosecution of anyone who "willingly injures, intimidates or interferes with another person, or attempts to do so, by force because of the other person's race, color, religion or national origin".

Is there any reason not to prosecute Smollet for violation of the Civil Rights Act? He certainly attempted to injure and intimidate Trump supporters with his hoax.

interesting blind gossip item on this one:
\
https://blindgossip.com/justice-trade/#more-98281

part of it
“Justice Trade
MARCH 26, 2019 BLIND GOSSIP LEAVE A COMMENT

[Blind Gossip] If you are wondering what the heck happened in this high-profile criminal case, we may have some insight!

Apparently, a trade was made.

Justice for politics.

The person who was responsible for administering justice aspires to a higher political office.

She was told that she would only be supported by [an influential former politician] if she quashed the existing case.

So, what about the crime?

It has nothing to do with the crime. It has to do with race and politics. She was told that [the politician] was very unhappy that this case was getting so much attention. She was told that she needed to make the case go away or she could kiss her own political future goodbye.

Why did they want her to quash it?

The crime doesn’t fit the narrative of their party and it makes many people in their party look bad. Worst of all, it provides fodder for the opposing political party for the 2020 election.

I would suspect there’s a lot more than $10k involved.

Now over 300...is he alleging there was a $10,000 payoff or what? Still reading...

That’s cheap, used to be you coudln’t buy an alderman that cheap much less a state’s attorney.

And the story from last night about Tchen getting hired for a do-nothing review at SPLC? That smells a lot like a layered payoff or kickback...FBI has lots of forensic attorneys who can peel onions like this in their sleep.

Ah, thanks. We’ll have to wait and see what the real payoff was then.

Yeah, That's pretty much what ALL of Chicago is about nowadays....

The mayor’s race is the city pits two black women against each other. I have yet to hear of any news media asking these women of their opinion of the failure of the states attorney to prosecute. They may have been asked that question by someone, but if so, I have yet to hear their response. And there’s not much time left before the election runoff takes place.

First of all, great find, as always RC!

Secondly, who is NOT going to use this stunning example of INJUSTICE when running in 2020, especially in the Midwest?

“Worst of all, it provides fodder for the opposing political party for the 2020 election.”

I’m still in SHOCK that ‘The Justice Brothers’ (Jackson and Sharpton) weren’t all over this one!

The mayor can fire the prosecutor. Will he?
Or is he pretending to be outraged?

In this case the prosecutor works for Cook County. I think that makes her an employee of the State of Illinois and responsible to the State A-G.

Now it looks like the two tier US justice System has now been clearly define as Democrats on the upper level and the rest of us on the lower level.

Illinois states attorney are elected at the county level. They are political animals. They do not report to the state AG.
