I really cannot take much more of “catholic” leaders forcing abortion down our throats. Do these people go to Mass? When did they become “catholic?” Did they say they are just to get votes? I am beyond sickened.

The biggest hypocrite of all, Dick Durbin who has received the Planned Parenthood "LIFETIME ACHIEVEMENT AWARD" gave the following quote on abortion in 1982 as he was running for Congress. After he was elected, he said to hell with my constituents -- my career is more important. Today he's Number 2 in the Senate.

My record of opposition to abortion on demand has been public record for eight years. Long before my opponent moved to this district I worked closely with Springfield Right-toLife and served as master of ceremonies at the annual banquet. As recently as this January 1 I was honored to serve again as Master of Ceremonies at the annual Observance in the State Capitol for the fifth time.

A right to abortion is not secured by this Constitution. The Congress and the several States shall have concurrent power to restrict and prohibit abortions. Provided, That a provision of law of a state which is more restrictive than a conflicting provision of a law of Congress shall govern.

When do you play the Trump card? Q

I think you just described very nicely what the "Trump Card" is exactly.

Looks like Nadler "went down that road" of Presidential harassment, don't it?

Thanks very much for posting the link to the court filing by Donald Trump for President, Inc.

Here is the court filing you linked to (without the redirection through another Free Republic thread and a True Pundit Link and a Twitter Post):

MEMORANDUM OF POINTS AND AUTHORITIES IN SUPPORT OF DEFENDANT DONALD J. TRUMP FOR PRESIDENT, INC.’S MOTION TO DISMISS COUNTS II, III, IV, VIII, XII, AND XIV OF THE SECOND AMENDED COMPLAINT

The document is 151 pages long (but because of the way legal docs are formatted might be 50 pages in a book). From the Introduction, on page 11:

INTRODUCTION

In this case, the Democratic National Committee (“DNC”) seeks to litigate and explain away its candidate’s defeat in the 2016 presidential election. The DNC thus alleges—unburdened by any actual facts—that President Trump’s campaign (Donald J. Trump for President, Inc.; “the Campaign”) conspired with Russia and a hodgepodge of others to publish materials stolen from the DNC’s computer systems.

But the DNC does not claim the Campaign had any role in hacking its systems and stealing the materials—it attributes that only to Russia.

Nor does the DNC claim the Campaign played any part in publishing the stolen materials—it attributes that only to Russia and WikiLeaks. Instead, the DNC predicates its claims against the Campaign exclusively on allegations that: (1) the Campaign received advance notice of some disclosures; and (2) after disclosures occurred, the Campaign made political use of the revealed information and publicly encouraged additional disclosures.

There are many problems with the DNC’s politically motivated lawsuit.

It threatens to unleash discovery that would interfere with the President’s “vast and important” responsibilities, which require “his undivided time and attention.” Clinton v. Jones, 520 U.S. 681, 697 (1997).

It expressly challenges policy decisions the President has made, like the decision to withdraw troops from Syria.

And it would inevitably collide with the various investigations (and at least one pending prosecution) relating to alleged collusion between Russia and Americans during the 2016 campaign. Fortunately, the DNC’s partisan effort to drag the Court into a political thicket already occupied by Congress and Special Counsel Robert Mueller is legally meritless, and so must be dismissed.

What If Trump Loses in 2020?

By Lloyd Marcus

FTA:
...
My neighbors are ordinary Americans who saw the horrible direction our country was going. They know Trump is good for America. Their loyal support for him is no more complicated than that. The Democrats’ and their minions’ relentless efforts to brand Trump voters racist haters is truly despicable, irresponsible, and divisive. Democrats and their leftist operatives are purposely generating racial hatred and violence against anyone caught wearing a MAGA cap.

Democrats, Hollywood, fake news media, and #NeverTrumpers are tripling down on their lies and negative spin about everything Trump says and does, intensifying their quest to drive Trump’s approval below 30% to impeach him.

What happens to America if Trump is not reelected in 2020?
...
Democrats winning the White House would mark the end of Trump’s America first agenda. But folks, what would be most disturbing to me if Trump were not reelected is the loss of his courageous voice, his unprecedented fearless pushback against fake news media, Democrats, and political correctness. I am so sick of Republicans kissing the derrieres of partisan Democrats and fake news media, foolishly believing it will gain them respect and fair treatment in the media. Nothing will cause leftists to turn away from their anti-American and anti-Christian agendas. They must be defeated.

Looked up old Nadler, these are just a few of pieces of info that some might like to read:

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jerrold_Nadler

Jerrold Nadler. He was a member of the New York State Assembly from 1977 to 1992, sitting in the 182nd, 183rd, 184th, 185th, 186th, 187th, 188th and 189th New York State Legislatures . In 1985, he ran for Manhattan Borough President. He lost the Democratic primary to David Dinkins.

The Guy Trump Called ‘Fat Jerry’ Is Chairman Nadler Now

The Daily Beast

1 day ago · But the present Nadler is a person transformed since he underwent stomach-reduction surgery in 2001 and shed more than 100 pounds. He had been noshing himself toward a peak weight of 328 pounds .

So what little I have read, there seems to me in my opinion some mighty envy going on here, Nadler thinking he is the ‘superiors’ of the two when he is nothing but little man with nothing Superior...

https://www.americanthinker.com/articles/2019/03/are_the_democrats_advantaging_the_republicans_for_2020.html

Are the Democrats Advantaging the Republicans for 2020?

By Kevin Mitchell

FTA:
Things do not seem to bode well for Democrats in 2020.

The Democrats have assumed much political risk with their policy proposals and tactics. For example, I am a registered Independent who has voted for Democrats, including Kerry and Obama. I can say with absolute certainty that I will never vote for a Democrat again because the party is now largely anathema to all I believe in. I am certain that I am not alone in that determination and that cannot possibly bode well for the Democrat party in the next election cycle.

One thing that seems to be unprecedented — perhaps going back to the American Civil War — is the dramatically wider range of citizens who over the past few years are paying extra close attention to national politics, debating each other, reading up on the issues and watching the amazing intolerance of the far left. For example, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez intends to primary any Democrat who votes with Republicans. There is little evidence of Democrat party tolerance or inclusiveness of ideas that are not those of the far left. What’s more, Speaker Nancy Pelosi has stated that working with the Republicans is wrong because it reduces Democrats’ leverage in Congress. What do citizens want more than both parties working together to solve the country’s problems?

So, we have a more engaged citizenry on the one hand, and the intolerant turn to extreme leftist policy proposals (e.g., the Green New Deal) on the other hand.
...
Many Americans who could not have previously thought that Open Borders was really a serious policy proposal have been awakened and sobered by the reckless far left push in that direction. Indeed, it appears that suburban women, many of whom were not fans of Trump in 2016, are changing their minds based on this immigration crisis.

In addition to immigration policy problems, the behavior of the far left has also greatly focused American’s mind on 2020. For example, voters and potential voters are witnessing Rep. Ilhan Omar’s public anti-Semitic smears, Rashida Tlaib’s on-camera promise to “impeach the motherf****r!” and Ocasio-Cortez’s tweet declaration that ICE is comprised of rapists and that ICE “pins children down + forcibly injects them w/ antipsychotic drugs.” All this is after the disgraceful Judge Kavanagh debacle, and many, many more shameful displays such as legislation that supports infanticide.

Trump is a culture war president. For many of the 63 million Americans who voted for Trump, it was because the cancerous culture of the far left was being foisted upon and dictated to us as citizens and that Clinton was only going to further metastasize the disease. Trump was our last best hope, despite his apparent personal issues. A failing economy under Obama — one that doubled the national debt to $20 trillion ($80K per family) - was not a cause of our decline in national prosperity and spirit, as well as global power and influence, but rather, just a symptom of a naive far leftist worldview and its supporting diseased culture.

Other symptoms of this contaminated culture include eviscerating the U.S. military, powering toward a single-payer, government-controlled healthcare system via lies (ObamaCare), apologizing for “America’s Sins” on a world tour, pursuing an empty, precarious foreign policy underscored by a disastrous “Russian Reset,” the Iran nuclear deal and Paris climate deal, while ignoring China’s theft of U.S. intellectual property and its aggressive moves in the South China Sea, responding without resolve to North Korea’s nuclear threats, failing to recognize ISIS as a Muslim jihadi movement, condemning Israel, fueling domestic racial tensions, disrespecting law enforcement, and weaponizing federal agencies such as the DoJ and IRS for political-enemy-attack purposes.

Those are just a partial list of symptoms of a far leftist culture.
...

https://www.americanthinker.com/blog/2019/03/the_left_seething_with_apoplectic_rage_the_right_happy_and_optimistic.html

The Left? Seething with apoplectic rage. The right? Happy and optimistic.

By Patricia McCarthy

Among the many, many things that starkly define the differences between the Left and the right, none is more wretched than the difference in how they approach life. Leftists, even when they are in power, are generally miserable, discontent with America as it was founded and as it is, always banging their heads against some perceived wall. The right, on the other hand, is characterized by general good-natured love of country and the quest to save America from the radical left’s reprehensible appropriation of the culture, academia, the media, and entertainment. Conservative people revel in their families, work, and self-reliance and their good fortune to be Americans. They are grateful people.

Leftists, since the administration of Woodrow Wilson, when they first called themselves “progressives,” have been regressive ever since. They crave the socially stratified societies of the Middle Ages, with an elite ruling class that garners all the wealth and wields the power to tell everyone else how to live. California has pretty much re-created exactly that today, as have New York and D.C. and its environs. Even so, all those rich, intolerant liberals are always angry and unhappy. Since Trump was elected, they are well and truly forlorn.

There are countless “studies” that claim that such differences are genetic, but most have been conducted by partisans with one bias or another and are unreliable. We know that for at least the last forty years, academia has been run by tenured radicals bent on indoctrination, not education. When they were busy reformulating American history standards, they effectively deleted Washington and Lincoln in favor of heretofore lesser known persons of color. Why couldn’t they just add people like Harriet Tubman to the standards without virtually erasing the Founders? Because they loathe those dead white males who sacrificed so much to see the Constitution drafted and a new nation forged. The new standards focused only on the negative aspects of American history. The message? America is an illegitimate country.

And now? Because they lost an election and the voters elected an unabashed patriot, the Democrats have deemed Trump an illegitimate president.

The Left hates people who love this country. Leftists are pounding their fists with fury that their hundred-year progressive campaign led to a Trump presidency. Nixon was bad, the Bushes were bad, but Trump! He is the black swan they never saw swimming their way, and he has rendered them disconsolate.

So morose is the Left at the possibility that Mueller’s report will not prove Trump’s collusion with Russia, an entirely Democrat-conceived hoax, that the contemptible Jerrold Nadler and the pitiable Adam Schiff have decided to go fishing for some crime among Trump associates by requesting documents from eighty-one people! They have no hint of crime, despite their assurances that they do. Schiff, the most oleaginous leaker in Congress, would have leaked any proof long ago if it existed. If this does not qualify as a gross abuse of power, what does?

So infuriated by Trump’s victory and his many successes in office, these people are willing to become Stalinist thugs and hope no one notices. Nadler and Schiff are among the most distressed Democrats in Congress. They need mental health help. They are spinning themselves into oblivion. The American people are not nearly as stupid as they think. As it happens, there is an increasing number of people in Congress who actually are very stupid, shockingly ignorant of the Constitution and American history, and they are getting the most attention of late.

The Left, wallowing in its misery and acting out, is bringing about its own demise. Yes, leftists retain a radical, vicious base, those people who are triggered by red hats to violence. So virulent is this crowd that its members advocate for the absurd Green New Deal offered up by the benighted Ocasio-Cortez, which, if ever implemented, would effectively destroy the economy of the U.S. As Patrick Moore, the founder of Greenpeace, tweeted, “Pompous little twit. You don’t have a plan to grow food for 8 billion people without fossil fuels, or get food into the cities. Horses? If fossil fuels were banned every tree in the world would be cut down for fuel for cooking and heating. You would bring about mass death.” Indeed.

They also want “Medicare for All, “ an obvious scheme to ration health care, to control the health of us peons.

The Left wants people to suffer; that is its goal. That is how incandescent leftists are with hatred for the American people, especially those who voted for Trump and are still happy they did. The cheerless Left has troubled its own house and will inherit the wind. The people of the right, and those who have since realized that joy is a good thing, are thrilled by what Trump has accomplished in two years and will re-elect the man with ease.

Not necessarily relevant specifically to Q et al, but has anyone else experienced the dawning realization of just how routine the entire DOJ political attack mechanism operates?

The reality is the repetitive use technique is really pretty simple and unsophisticated. Its strength and power are derived from surprise, primarily the gullibility of chosen targets. That is, those who cannot fathom nor believe the level of corruption that exists in the US government. In essence, the process works best against citizens less enured to degrading and habitual prostitution so far removed from stylized ideals.

Here we have the crux of it: an invented violation, a false accusation. The seriousness of the charge mandates an investigation of the person, not the crime, since evidence of a crime isn't necessary for the process to begin. That's because it's a politically motivated hit, one designed to forestall, alienate or remove select opponents via non-democratic means.

So, after all the pieces are put together, it really becomes apparent just how important a controlled media is to the game. By setting the public dialogue and establishing, regulating and guiding the narrative, the media can shape reality to fit the designed (and desired) outcome.

Taken as a complete whole, the tried and true tactics follows well established patterns. Invent and fabricate evidence that provides a false basis of probable cause. Appoint an investigator without oversight who can withhold and destroy exculpatory evidence. Engage all levers of propaganda to control public discourse while elevating doubt and exciting the general public.

Once exposed, all routine, all obvious. So, two questions: Why do the culprits think they can get away with it? And, what is their motivation to circumvent democratic processes? The answers come down to the nature of very people who are directing the action. Dysfunctional, defective individuals whose malevolence is reflected in their mannerisms, speech and appearance.

These people are hateful gargoyles; literally monsters of imagination writ large while walking the earth. The only solution is termination, to eradicate the dangers so that citizens can live in peace.
