I’ve been attacked here for saying the same thing some time ago.

I’m not sure my feelings have changed it all, but I am hoping that Trump is grooming Pence. And that when it is time to choose the next President Trump will leave us in good hands. I trust that he knows who will be best. However the Republican machine might push for who they want. We will have to watch for the nuances on what Trump says at the time. And who he finally endorses, I don’t think that he could be bullied to endorse someone bad for the US.

On another note, I woke up with my eyes not as dry as the Sahara this morning! Still doing it eye drops but they were pretty much optional instead of mandatory. I hope my glands are starting to work now! That would make the humidifier, eyelid scrubs, Omega threes that make me nauseous, moisture goggles that I can’t sleep in, warm compresses- it would all be worth it.

On a federal level only the President can declare it. Both a governor and mayor can delcare Martial Law in almost all states I believe. The mayor of Chicago declared it in 1871 during the Chicago Fire. San Francisco has declared it twice that I know of 1906 (earthquake) and in 1934 (Riots).
