I like that song. I was at a concert where Sheryl Crow was the second act. It was great hearing it done live!
Who?
Yankees SUCK too btw.
Yes, they do. Red Sox nation out here in the boondocks. Although the Enfield CT stores are a mix of Yankee stuff. Its a little concerning living that close to savages.
wow, more experience than wade phillips. The key to the game was poor passing execution by the rams QB and receivers. When receivers are open and the QB can’t hit them, that has nothing to do with coaching.
Whichever network ponies up the big $$ for broadcast rights ALSO gets to be first in line to interview the big names down on the field, starting with the winning QB. And that was CBS this time.
Yet for a full 10 minutes after everyone rushed out on the field, you saw plenty of shots of Brady from all angles, but no sound at all from him. Just shots of him talking into microphones of other TV & radio sportscasters, none of whom were sharing their audio feeds with CBS obviously.
So the two play-by-play booth sportscasters just kept ad-libbing to fill in the time.
Finally after at least 10 min, it became obvious what happened. Because at that moment, CBS's designated on-field interviewer showed up with the mike, and you finally got to hear some words from Brady. It was this teensy little Hispanic woman, who Brady towered over by at least 12". She must have had a tough time elbowing her way thru the crowd of mostly tall men, including many other sportscasters who were no doubt retired NFL players.
So instead of choosing a large black or white male to take the microphone to Brady, CBS decided to gain diversity points by sending a barely-over-5ft reporter who allowed them to mark two checkboxes on their Virtue Signaling totals - for gender and race.
And as a result, the viewers of CBS, who was the only network allowed to broadcast the game, were left wondering what the hey was going on with all the soundless video of Brady taken from at least a half dozen camera angles.
I hate the on-the-field reporting. It is now a way to get women into the field of sports announcing.
Watch when the coaching come on and off the filed. They get a 2 minute question and they look at the woman and say something like.e We have to improve our defense’s election. Thanx coach. The league requires the coaches to stop.
DEFENSE’S EXECUTION
Nah.
The QB can’t see everybody, he only looks for the ones that SHOULD be open.
The Rams should have forced their running game through. That’s what they are good at.
But they didn’t.
I can see him next year with a trainee/backup.
Pats protect him extremely well.
coach, you misinterpreted my comment. I was referring to the location of the thrown football in relationship to the receiver, not seeing all the receivers on the field.
Yeah, OK,
I’m still pondering why they couldn’t/wouldn’t get their running game on.
So obvious they needed it.
NICE graphic!
Same here. That Hyundai elevator commercial was hilarious! Love the Bud Light ads, hate the beer though.
The only reason I’d want Tom Brady to stay around (and risk an injury) is my hope that the Pats play New Orleans next season. Ideal would be the first game of the season. That would be the real SuperBowl LIII. Maybe the game wouldn’t be such a snore if the two teams that won the right to be there were playing! Even better, maybe Gladys Knight could do the half time show instead of the mess we endured. (A gal can dream!)
I grew up in Vernon
Thats awfully close to being a Turmon Munson territory. I admit, I was a fan as a little league catcher. I went to college with all Red Sox fans. They set me straight.
I saw a couple of times where she was getting crushed.
Sorry, Honey... It’s a man’s sport.
Also, did you see where Brady was hugging Bob Kraft? A boom microphone hit Brady in the head—twice. Tom shoulda decked him. The media is a gaggle of ghouls!
