There is no rule. The case that was made is that you shouldn’t confirm a justice in the last year of a lame duck presidency. Trump won’t be in that situation for another 5 years, if at all. In any event, since there is no rule, McConnell can (and likely will given the chance) push the confirmation process through if it presents itself.

When I saw that Sat morning I sort of watched it out of the corner of my eye and didn’t pay it full attention.
Rewatching the video my eye caught that symbol for the Women and Red program so it was nice to come back to see you had done a lot of legwork on it.
It would be nice to be able to trust information sources, but sadly, we can’t. I use Wiki links in my posts sometimes but only meant for a general introduction to a subject.

He then says he thinks the investigation is close to being completed.
And Whitaker goes on to say he expects to have Mueller’s completed report as soon as possible.

“It’s about to end soon” means Mueller isn’t about to magically produce a slew of indictments and begin NEW prosecutions. Prosecutions that would take at least a year or more to bring to their conclusion.
