That logic suggest the whole game should be played that way. No.

Don’t have a kickoff. Have each team start at a particular yard line, like in college. In college you start at the other team’s 20 yard line. Maybe in the NFL, it would be maybe the other team’s’ 40 yard line. Something like that.

What? The game is played in four quarters. Nothing wrong with that. But I think there are better alternatives for OT than forcing a substantial extension of the regulation time.

I’m not a fan of overtime in football, unless it’s a playoff.

If you can’t decide matters in 60 minutes, then a tie is the right result.

Yes, but we’re in the playoffs. I know of no better OT alternative than pairing possessions until someone is ahead after a pair of possessions.

I think your two-possession idea has some merit. That pretty much will take about the whole 15 minutes anyway.

I would also force teams to go for two-point conversions in OT instead of kicking PATs.

Before the games today I said to Mrs. The know that it would be something if the Rams and Pats both won and faced each other in the Super. Owl.

Tom Brady’s first Super Bowl ring came against the St. Louis RAMS!

When was the last LA title?

1983, the LA Raiders beat the Redskins.
