The president has perfect timing. If he has a reasonable proposal for Pelosi and the dems today, they’re probably so ticked that they’ll respond with flat-out refusal and once again look like the obstructionist resisters they are.
Personally, I hope he’s going to lay everyone off so they can collect unemployment, just for the purpose of calling back only those he wants.
