My husband has had so many things happen to him health wise that it really is a miracle that he is still alive. He has never been sick with flu, colds or that sort of thing, just parts of his body giving out. 2 major open heart surgeries. Aortic Valve replacement twice. First mechanical in 1993 lasted 17 yrs, replaced with a pig valve 2010 that they say usually lasts 13 yrs. It is going on 8 yrs now. Stent in heart 1999, stent in leg 2000 something, now possible Prostrate Cancer, and the fact that he has Parkinsonism and can't do much of anything. I do get pretty depressed at times.

Emergency powers/ national emergency will let him use funds from the defense fund. (There is plenty).
People don’t realize that the funds to build must be paid out of national treasury (including the 20 million collected by the disabled vet)
He also has a very generous executive branch slush fund that he could use. Basically he’s playing mind games and they are TOO STUPID to realize they are being played.

There’s also is a bill in senate that will take the assets of drug lords to pay for the wall. Again the problem it first getting those funds in the national treasury.

OTOH we will soon be foreclosing on criminals (EO signed December 2017)
