Thanks for the good wishes, y'all. I think this is not all that bad - as long as I stay away from playing rugby! 😎
The pain is more an uninterrupted discomfort, although some movement can aggravate with a bit of pain. I tend to look at this somewhat like a dental implant - let time grow the bone around the fracture... time I have - or it won't matter much, eh? 😁 Anyway, mild pain pills and anti-inflammatory seem to ease the problems.

What a great excuse to sit around and guzzle egg nog, watch TV and have family doing this and that for ya'. Just kidding!
