The pain is more an uninterrupted discomfort, although some movement can aggravate with a bit of pain. I tend to look at this somewhat like a dental implant - let time grow the bone around the fracture... time I have - or it won't matter much, eh? 😁 Anyway, mild pain pills and anti-inflammatory seem to ease the problems.
What a great excuse to sit around and guzzle egg nog, watch TV and have family doing this and that for ya'. Just kidding!
Hubby broke his back 3/2017. (T12). Took awhile to heal, but he is 72. I am happy to say he is doing very well now. We will be praying for you. Suck up all that sitting-around time. LOL Good time of year for it.
