"The economy's very sound," insists WH economic advisor Larry Kudlow, despite plunge on Wall Street. There are "a lot of factors" at play, and "corrections come and go," he tells reporters at the WH. Says there are market sell-offs, but "the economy's doing very well."
"Recession is so far in the distance, I can't see it," says Kudlow. "Keep the faith. It’s a very strong economy," he tells reporters during WH driveway gaggle.

"Inflation's coming down. That's the wonderful thing," says Kudlow, also pointing to rising incomes for blue collar and middle class. Recommends reporters read "JFK and the Reagan Revolution: A Secret History of American Prosperity." Didn't mention he co-wrote it.

Train rides...and they change themes. Once we went and there was a hold-up with men on horses. They stopped the train and they came aboard. The kids loved it. They have Christmas rides that book up fast. Everyone wears pajamas...parents included...they serve hot chocolate...it must be lots of fun..because people make it a family event and go every year. I should have asked about more information from my nephew...he took his family a few years ago. They still talk about the fun they had on the train.

Was making my bread, had it already to go in the oven, forgot to put the sugar in, then out of the pans back in the mixer, regrease pans, cooking now.

This is after the blender went nuts and sprayed batter all over me and my teapot collection.

Hubby got back from getting what I forgot at store and says he is looking into “A Place for Mom.”
Said that would be great and then I can wait until they say dinner is ready. LOL.
Packing now.

Sure smells good in here now.
Cooking 8 loaves, for kids, neighbors, friends at the park and guard at the gate.
