All fiscal bills, legislature begins in committees in the house, moved to the floor, approved, and sent to the Senate for more editing, adding, and changing, The final bill is sent to the President for signature for law That is what I was taught in the 7th grade.

We won’t cut spending. More stupid investigations. Impeachment hearings.... The wall may never get built unless Trump authorizes it through military spending with the Army Corps of Engineers.....
They want to get trump’s taxes.
They want to investigate his businesses.
Impeachment hearings day one, investigations out the wazoo, a fall stock market, slowing economy and nothing positive for the country.
About 15 minutes after they are sworn in, they will start working on the impeachment stuff for Trump. Never mind that Trump has done NOTHING which would be legitimately a reason to impeach him, the Communist Party USA will invent something, instead of working on legitimate things which actually need their attention on behalf of the stupid morons who voted them in.
Nancy Pelosi smirking and wielding the gavel, Mad Maxine and Schiff subpoenaing every document they can think of, and impeachment. Probably more but that's the worst of it.

Forget any part of the Trump (pro-America) agenda that depends upon being funded. Expect a two year circus while America’s important business doesn’t get done. Possible impeachment....
They’ll end oversight into the FBI and DoJ and generally cause as much chaos as possible over 2 years.
Instant move for impeachment. Stagnation elsewhere.

Hopefully the Pubs will pass funding for the wall before the Dems take office in January. Then the new more Republican Senate can pass it when they take office.
Senate judicial confirmations are unaffected, along with SCOTUS nominations. the new trade deals may be affected, but most treaties are approved by the senate, not the full Congress.
Improved chances for Trump’s re-election. They will over-play their hand, conduct senseless investigations, be obstructionist, and the voters will punish them in 2020.
Mmmmm. I wouldn’t be so sure of that. They have to have a predicate. I say just nonstop investigations and subpoenas.
For one, the House controls the purse strings.
