So very cute!

Grateful for a warm house and good food to eat and my dog Moose. We went on a long drive (with me driving...ha ha) doing errands today. He likes to jump into the front seat while I am in a store. I have to shoo him into the back again. He wants to be in the drivers seat. Hes smart but his paws cant reach the gas or brake so... back seat it is.

No matter how old I get I still love Snoopy and Woodstock.

Looking forward to Thanksgiving. Turkey and ham, dressing...my favorite...and I will bring the sweet potatoes.
Will be about 17 of us at my folks place. My drive is much shorter this year since we moved back to my hometown area.
Cheers for my favorite holiday!

That little dog can jump higher than I could if I even dared to try!
Jumping has gone the way of running..,,not gonna do it.
Walking, yes. That I like.
To: TheConservativeParty
Well, Penny, my 8-year-old dog, loves to walk, but if we come to an obstacle like a fallen tree, she will leap right over it like a horse.

I had a dog that would jump over my horse training barrels. You take a 50 gallon plastic drum and lay it on its side and ask the horse to jump over while you are on the ground. I asked my doberman to do it and he did. Moose might be a tad short to do that. I like that the chocolate lab in him makes him tired faster than a doberman. I am liking the mellow lab genes. Hes snoring on his bed now. So cute.

Yes. Dogs DO snore! LOL! hahaha

Moose is only 2, our other dogs didnt snore until they were older.
He is our first lab though. The dobes were more slender. Moose is a bit chunky. Thus the extra walks and running for the ball.

A Hidden Ministry
November 21, 2018
On him we have set our hope that he will continue to deliver us, as you help us by your prayers.
2 Corinthians 1:1011
A big academic project was weighing on me, and I was fretting over whether I could complete it by the deadline. In the midst of my anxious thoughts, I received three notes of encouragement from friends who were cheering me on. Each one said, God brought you to mind today when I was praying. I felt humbled and encouraged that these friends would contact me without knowing what I was going through, and I believed God had used them as His messengers of love.
The apostle Paul knew the power of prayer when he wrote to the people in the church of Corinth. He said he trusted that God would continue to deliver them from peril as you help us by your prayers (2 Corinthians 1:1011). And when God answered their prayers, He would be glorified as the people gave Him thanks for the answer to the prayers of many (v. 11).
My friends and Pauls supporters were engaging in the ministry of intercession, which Oswald Chambers calls a hidden ministry that brings forth fruit through which the Father is glorified. As we focus our minds and hearts on Jesus, we find Him shaping us, including how we pray. He enables us to give the gift of true intercession to friends, family members, and even strangers.
Has God put someone on your heart and mind for whom you can pray?
God hears the prayers of His people.
Paul endured far more than his share of trials. As he begins this deeply personal letter (see 2 Corinthians 1:37), he comforts the church in Corinth by using his own difficulties to identify with them. Then, with piercing candor, he reveals the depths of those trialsfar beyond our ability to endure, so that we despaired of life itself (v. 8). Why would God permit His faithful servants to go through so much? Paul points to the reason: This happened that we might not rely on ourselves but on God, who raises the dead (v. 9, emphasis added).
When facing despair, we can do far more than merely endure. We can use our travails to identify with and understand our brothers and sisters who suffer and to pray for them. And we can acknowledge the absolute necessity of God, who raises the dead.

Hello Meg! Hope you have a great Thanksgiving. Weather will be good here. I am bringing the sweet potatoes tomorrow. My favorite is still the dressing.
