Well, Penny, my 8-year-old dog, loves to walk, but if we come to an obstacle like a fallen tree, she will leap right over it like a horse.
I had a dog that would jump over my horse training barrels. You take a 50 gallon plastic drum and lay it on its side and ask the horse to jump over while you are on the ground. I asked my doberman to do it and he did. Moose might be a tad short to do that. I like that the chocolate lab in him makes him tired faster than a doberman. I am liking the mellow lab genes. He’s snoring on his bed now. So cute.
