They are trying to delay. They need a couple weeks, push the vote into October, then raise hell on the floor of the Senate during the vote and hope by then they can peel off a couple Republicans. It’s all about delay.

I knew that he was away, but were his phones, laptop and access to the network under surveillance at the time? I recall reading they were pretty panicked by how it happened, although with RR in the DOJ, he might have had a heads up.

Derry comes from a talented family of accomplished artists and very well known creative people.
Her father was Eliot Noyse, known for his fine architecture, and industrial design. He is very well known for his work on the IBM Selectric Typewriter.
Her mother was also an architect and designer. She entertained frequently very notable guests. The four children, Derry and her brothers and sisters have noted that they were required to keep a very orderly home because it was one which their father had designed, and guests would want to examine it closely to the extent of opening cabinets, and such.
Derry Noyse attended Yale University School of Art from 2004-2006. She designs for the US Postal Office, among other clients, who include museums, corporations, foundations, and architectural and educational institutions. She and Greg Craig have five children.
There is not much else found easily about her online. However, her family is quite gifted and successful, and knowing of them contributes to the effort of understanding her. One can certainly see how she and her family could have influenced Greg Craig’s circles of acquaintances and friends and enhanced his career.

Perhaps you heard: early on Rush raised doubts that she will show. Today Rush sort of brushed off a comment that DiFi had not brought up the B-F's letter earlier because she had originally received the same letter from the same individual offering to do a torpedo job on Judge Gorsuch. 🤨
OK my stab at this. Consider the following. Sessions recused himself. This is completely his choice. Any decision to unrecuse himself is also completely his choice.
Due to the "CLARITY" gained by looking at the "UNCLASSIFIED MATERIAL" Sessions has made the decision to unrecuse himself. As such Rod Rosenstein no longer supervises the FISA application and warrants process for the DOJ.
Sessions is notifying the Chief Justice, and possibly one other justice, of the Supreme Court of this fact. Why? The Chief Justice appoints the justices that have the responsibility of granting FISA warrants. As such by statute the Chief Justice has some responsibility over these subordinate FISA judges.
Once Sessions had unrecused himself he reviews the FISA applications and all granted warrants. During this review he finds irregularities. Some of the irregularities include questionable actions by the judge/judges involved. Possibly they include some information that would affect the chief justices impartiality as well.
Sessions writes a letter to the two judges informing them of what he has discovered, as one supervisor to another.
This is my take on what all this means, it contains more than a little conjecture so take it with a large grain of salt.

“Mary Duncan Weed (Molly) Noyes died on July 25 in New Canaan, Conn. She was born in Boston on Sept. 23, 1915, the daughter of Charles Frederick and Mary Duncan (Walker) and was a longtime summer resident of Chilmark….”
“…. She trained as an architect at the Cambridge School of Architecture in Cambridge, and worked professionally as an interior designer in close association with her husband at the forefront of the modern movement. She assisted with projects for several leading American corporations, including IBM, Xerox, Mobil, Westinghouse and Cummins Engine, designing interiors of corporate headquarters, executive offices, showrooms and even executive jet aircraft, and also worked on interiors for schools, libraries and private residences.
She was known for her unerring eye for quality, an intuitive spatial awareness, a refined material and color sense, and for making warm, comfortable spaces.
Molly was predeceased by her husband. She is survived by her four children: Mary Duncan Brust (Meridee), Eliot Jr. (Eli), Frederick, and Margaret Noyes Craig (Derry); 10 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. She will be interred at the family burial plot in Abel’s Hill Cemetery in Chilmark.”
