Shrodinger Equations. Drove me out of my mind. I was ready to quit college and mother said Art History. She’d been a fine arts major there. So I did. Studied in the same Lorado Taft studio she had. Lost my Russian and had to take French and an extra year, but it was worth it to cry at the beauty of the art. THEN I got my dream job at the Adler Planetarium. Fired after 5 months. They caught me a day after the election. I’d been a Republican election judge in a Democratic patronage job. Used the science in computer science - computer language design at IBM Research. There’s as much beauty in both science and the arts.
