“The ‘kill site’ covers 172 square feet”

Smaller than a one-car garage.

Next time I step on a bug, I’ll think of my footprint as a kill-site.

Gruesome or not, I am grateful that paleolithic humans found an efficient way of killing mammoths.

Those people may have been my ancestors. If they were not warm and well fed, I might not be typing this today.

In Darke County Ohio, there is a sinkhole north of Greenville on St. Rte. 49 at the RR crossing. A quarter mile east is a farm where prehistoric digs have quietly taken place for 40 years or more.

The KILL site is to be renamed the DNC pit. Note they have not found any body bags, yet.

Earlier this year, a fossilized “pygmy” wooly mammoth was also uncovered on Siberia’s Kotelny Island, which experts say may be a new species.

In 1994, paleontologists made the remarkable discovery of a pygmy mammoth on Santa Rosa Island, the most complete collection of its kind in the world. Found only on the California Channel Islands and nowhere else in the world, the pygmy mammoth was probably a small form of the Columbian mammoth found on the mainland.

Why is it “gruesome”? That is just silly.

What’s so gruesome about killing an animal to eat and have clothing. And probably tools too.

The grocery store is a gruesome site where slaughtered animals are sold for food. /s
