The difference between the two “children” paintings is that in one, the one where you see the ropes/lines/hoses in the background, the children are kneeling, with their backs to the camera. That's all I'm gonna say about it...but go look, slowly.

The other picture is the “clean” version. Albeit with red shoes. I find the ropes/lines one very disturbing.
