Due to my relationships--hubby etc.--I know a lot about classified jobs etc. Used to be fiercely 'patriotic.' Now, I believe it is MORE patriotic to force the CYA evil doers in government to be transparent 99.7% of the time. Let the chips fall where they may. Deal with it.

I do NOT any longer believe that in most cases, openness and transparency would be more destructive to us via our external enemies than the enemies within are destructive by CYA secrecy. I just don't believe that any longer. Not by a good margin.

So, in my opinion there is no way that someone could stretch the 'unlawful combatants' definition, as described in the LOAC link you provided, to cover Cheryl Mills, for instance.

Which is why I continue to believe that if there are arrests or detentions stemming from the investigation of the Deep State Coup the vast majority will be by normal LEOs and be tried in Federal Courts.

I do not know what to make of the 30,000 sealed depositions, except to note that this, too is a part of the normal civilian legal process, not the one I would expect the US Military to use in regards to 'unlawful combatants'.
