That is cumulative, and most of those sealed indictments have since been unsealed. Just saying, the number isn't how many sealed indictments are pending "at the moment."
Did you ever wonder how many indictments the federal government files in a typical year?
Someone mentioned several months ago that the “sealed indictments” were made up of indictments as well as court actions which were not indictments , anyone have a feel for this?

I did a really small sampling of the raw data (which is available at the website that prepares the summary reports), and best I can tell all the papers "counted" were in fact indictments.
Raw data is a "sample" or accounting at the end of each month, in each jurisdiction. I don;t if that accounting is every indictment filed sealed, or presently sealed.
Oh that it would happen!

More accurately, declined to prosecute. That is not the same as bring to trial and exonerate.
And so, Hillary's "exoneration" by Comey is just as valid as RR's of Manafort, that is, it's meaningless. The Fed's can change their decision to not prosecute.
