bunch of dopes..
The Internet fantasy cult assigns itself heroism. Sad.
“But it is evidence of something being afoot, wouldn’t you say? 40k as opposed to 1K?
Sleepy Sessions is up to SOMETHING, right?”
Since we don’t know anything about them, it’s not really evidence of anything. We don’t have any way to know if Sessions is even connected to them at all.
“If you believe, like I do, that Q is a Trump authorized operation, then it follows that if you are working AGAINST the Q operation, like you are, that you are working against Trump.”
You can believe whatever you want, but that doesn’t make it reality.
“I’ll expect your groveling apology when I’m proven right, goodman.”
Sure, but that isn’t going to happen. I also have no doubt that just about every Q believer will never do the same, they’ll just keep on making excuses forever rather than admit they were wrong.
“Again, since I believe in Q, and Q said, “Trust Sessions” I must then trust Sessions.”
When your conspiracy theories make you start engaging in this kind of circular reasoning, it’s usually a sign that they aren’t very good theories.
“You do know the “stock” photo was posted by anons to compare the “reflection” photo to and prove it was taken on Air Force One, right?”
The photo is from NBC, it was publicly available to anyone on the internet. Seems like Q just took it and manipulated it, probably thinking his followers would never bother to do more than a simple image search to check on it, and since he introduced some distortion from the original image, an image search wouldn’t find the original photo.
If “Q” was legit, and really wanted to prove he was on Air Force One, he could just take an actual original photo that could be verified. Maybe just hold up today’s copy of the New York Times and take a snap with some identifiable place in AF1 in the background, for example. He doesn’t do that, though, because he can’t get on AF1, because he is just some dude in a basement somewhere. So he has to resort to stuff like using photos from an old NBC story and hoping nobody would notice.
“it matches cause it’s the same plane since 1992 idiot and because it’s an airplane things like lamps are bolted in place”
Yet every single one of your photos has many easily noticeable differences. Maybe next time try not posting the evidence that disproves your own point.
“The Q cultists aren’t idiots, and at some level they know number two is nonsense...”
I kind of wish that were true. Maybe they are all just trolling us, like Q is trolling the internet. It really seems otherwise though.
What I figure happens is, they bought into the conspiracy theory when it was presented to them with out any contrasting critical examination. At a certain point, people’s beliefs get fixed, and if they see the contrary evidence after that, they are closed off to it and reject it without any real consideration. It’s an emotional response, so there isn’t much chance of reasoning with people at that point. Trump himself could come out and say “Q” is a fake, and I really think a lot of them would rationalize it away.
(And I need the beer money)
...
An open, analytical mind is required for this stuff, goodman. Give it a shot."
I think this is the fundamental error right here. When you are dealing with an unproven assertion, you should look at it critically, which first and foremost means fairly evaluating all the possible arguments and evidence that can disprove the assertion. You're advocating for basically the opposite approach, to just assume the assertion is true and try to find ways to justify it. That is not critical thinking.
I did not start with the assumption that "Q is fake". I came to that conclusion after it became obvious that it was the most reasonable conclusion to be drawn based on the evidence. I have yet to see any evidence to convince me otherwise.
Then I assert to you that you haven't looked hard enough. I assure you, the evidence is there.
I, like you, started out in a state of disbelief. Then the proposition of Q was asserted. Are you saying I automatically believed it without evidence? I guess you don't know me, so I'll let you say that, but it's most def not true.
I promise you I'm not easily buffaloed kookburger. I've never EVER been accused of being a typical nutburger. In fact, I'm the one that makes fun of the kooks. And yet here I am. A Q-tard. Think about that, though I know you don't know me.
It took me a while. But the difference between me and you (and most likely most of the HONEST doubters, is that I actually looked at the evidence with an open yet skeptical mind. As the evidence piled up, none of the pieces ONE HUNDRED PERCENT independent proof, on balance and overall, I was convinced. Once I became convinced, the evidence kept piling up.
Anyway, if I can be convinced of an "unlikely" and "out of the box, irregular thing" like Qanon, I'm surprised other regular people of reasonable intelligence can't.
Also, there is a big difference between skepticism and active antagonism, which I see a lot of here. That, to me, is puzzling.

Well, I'm no genius and many many people are way smarter than me, but lemme take a crack at this one.
I agree that when presented with an assertion, one must"fairly balancing all the arguments and evidence that can disprove the assertion."
Of course that's true. One would have to be a fool not to. But what about that man who, like I asserted originally, doesn't consider the positive evidence that would prove the assertion. And the likelihood that it would be true. Remember, the assertion itself is a form of evidence. We would call that testimony in a courtroom.
Also, think about standards of proof and what standard SHOULD be used in this case.
Philosophy is fun.
In the meantime, it would be good of FReepers stopped C-blocking The Donald's Q program.
Think of it.

Trump's involvement in this psyop is a figment of your imagination, as are many other elements of the hoax.
Keep digging that rabbit hole .
Of course it's evidence of something. EVERYTHING is evidence of something. From this we can conclude at least two things. One, that the person at the top (Sessions) is not blocking investigations that lead to subpoenas like Holder/Lynch did. The results are many, many times greater than Obama/Bush/Clinton/Bush administration.
The 40k indictments are evidence that something unusual is happening. Agree?
You can believe whatever you want, but that doesnt make it reality.
True, and right back atcha. But think of this. My belief is based on evidence, while yours is based on, what. Emotion? A pre-disposed inclination? I honestly don't think you've either a.) seen all the evidence or b.) given it an honest evaluation.
For example this latest proof. The AF-1 photo. You say that the apple reflectdion photo was "manipulated" from a stock photo that was available n the internet.
Where is your proof of that? Are you saying the reflection photo was photoshopped? Prove it. The "stock photos" were offered as proof (by anons) of where the reflection photo was taken. I believe the reflection photo was an original photo. Please feel free to prove me wrong.
I also have no doubt that just about every Q believer will never do the same, theyll just keep on making excuses forever rather than admit they were wrong.
Oh no, goodman. I am a man of honor. I will be the first to admit my dumbassery if Q is proven to be false. I value my reputation as an honest man. Thing is, the disprovers are becoming more ridiculous as the proofs pile up.
I'm not rich, but I'll bet you a personal shiny nickel that I'm right on this. Write that down.
When your conspiracy theories make you start engaging in this kind of circular reasoning, its usually a sign that they arent very good theories.
I wouldn't call that circular thinking. I'd call that logical thinking. Going from one basic premise to the next, based on a belief in the first. If I believe in Q and what it is, then I must believe it is a Presidentially sanctioned operation with a "plan" to proceed.
Those involved in the plan have to know who else is involved in the plan and who is the enemy of that plan. If they tell me to "trust Sessions" then Sessions is part of the plan. It's pretty easy to make that connection. IF you believe Q is what he is purported to be.
And just so you know, you may even be part of the plan. Do you see Sessions being attacked by the media and deep state? Why not?
Good talk.
